I starred at Ashon who starred Back at Me trying to Read the expression on My face But I don't have One.
"Do you have Another Important Meeting Today?" I Ask as I Look at Him drink his Tea.
"Nah I don't But I do Have to Meet with Someone Name Donewoody" he said sipping the Last of his sweet tea I take the Slice Lemon Wedge off his Cup and Bite it.
He Laughs And Places the Cup in the Sink, "So What Happen to Samiya's Mom she Gone Awol Again?" I say sounding a Little Rude but I Could Careless.
"Um No she's".....he pauses and Slaps His Hand on the water bottle He'd gotten out of the fridge.
"She's Just What?" I say Trying to Make Him Go into More Detail He has a Look of Sadness on His Face I can tell he's thinking Long and Hard about the Answer.
"She's Just Not Ready to Take Back Her Daughter Yet" he says and I frown My eyebrows at Him "Why the Hell Not?" I question once More.
"I don't Know Asha maybe she"s Just Not Ready to See Samiya and She's especially Not Ready to See Her sixteen Yearold Daughter's Baby!" He retorts Slamming down his half Empty water Bottle.
And with That Final Blow He walks out of the Kitchen I stand still and try to figure out why Samiya's Mom Isn't around as she should Be.
"She's Just Busy that's All she'll Come Around" he says as Confident as Ever.
I shake My head and Bite the Left over parts of the Lemon Before throwing the peel in the trash.
