L U K E
I stare out the window ignoring the world around me. Everything has been going down hill since we ended it. I never thought such a thing would happen but as I watched her walk away and get in another guys car I knew it was over from there. Her laugh is the sound that echoes through my mind. Her smile is the only image I see. I just wish I could tell her how much she meant to me. I regret never telling her that I loved her, or just how much her being by my side meant.
I took her for granted.
She knew I did but she never called me out on it. The guilt of it all could have changed if I would have opened my eyes to what I was doing. She was so sweet, so loving. I took advantage of it.
I notice someone poking my shoulder. I haven't talked to anyone in a few days. I just knew that they will mention my mistakes or her beautiful name will be brought into the subject of discussion. I move my headphones from my ears. Glancing over I notice Calum. He looks concerned. Everyone has looked at me that way for awhile now. I know I might seem broken but Im okay..or am I?
"Mate you alright?"
I nod before placing my headphones back over my ears. I lean my head agains the window. Closing my eyes I just wish that I could have the chance to hold her close to me one last time. Or prove to her that she is the one an it was my stupidity.
If only that could happen.

A L E X I S
You stayed seated on your bed thinking of everything. The fight, the last call, the walking away. It all came so fast it wasn't suspected but you can't handle his demands anymore. He wanted everything when he wanted it. You could never get a word in when he was discussing something. You never understood him-well you thought you did-you just wanted a happy or slightly happy loving relationship. Your thoughts drift as your phone starts to ring. You sigh knowing its probably Luke calling again to try and convince you that he has changed.
"Alexis?"
You really wished you would have checked checked the caller Id before answering.
"Hi Calum."
"He's bad. He needs you."
"He should have thought of that before acting the way he did." You were tired of hearing the same thing. But it always built the guilt behind the facade you have established.
"He's made so mistakes. Alexis he regrets them you can see it. His eyes are always red rimmed and he hasn't talked to anyone in days or weeks."
Luke crying?
No.
Couldn't happen.
"Before you say anything just come over please!"
You hated this. You hated how everyone worried about you both. The same phrase was spoken every time your break up was mentioned.
They were so in-love.
You thought the same thing for years. Always believing he was the one that you wanted to spend the test of your life with. But did he ever want it?
"Alexis?"
"Fine. Calum ill come over."
Hanging up your phone you sigh before getting up and heading towards the door.
....
Minutes passed you still stood at Calum's front door. You couldn't bring yourself to knock or even enter the house. The front door opens. Calum stands there smiling at you. "Thank god!"
He grabs your wrist and pulls you into the house. He doesn't say anything as he drags you towards the back room. Without a word spoken he pushes you in and closes the door. Glancing behind you. You realize your alone. But then you notice him. His head leaning against the window, a soft sniffle is heard as he uses the back of his hand to wipe his nose. His eyes are closed as his headphones are placed over his ears.
"They told me he looked bad." You muttered to yourself as you stepped closer to him.
Having more courage then you thought you reach over and tap his shoulder. He doesn't move or open his eyes. "Calum I'm fine." He spoke.
His voice.
Oh god.
So broken, so heart shattering. You tried to not crack at just the sound. You tapped his shoulder again as he repeated the words a little bit louder. Repeating you action he finally sat up taking his headphones off as he repeated he continued sentence. As he looked towards you.
"Alexis?"
You don't say anything as you look at him. He stands to his feet as he drops everything. He wraps his arms around you. You stand frozen. He never done this before. You forced his affection to be shown. "Oh baby. I missed you so much. Please please don't leave me again." You moved your arms to where they wrapped around him. He buried his face in the crook of your neck.
"Luke - "
"Alexis. I'm sorry I acted like an ass. I love you. I should have told you. I should have showed you everyday what you meant to me but I didn't. Give me another chance please baby please."
His voice cracked at the last word. He cares. You move your hands up and down his back as in away to try and calm him. He pulled away as he placed his hands in either sides of you face. "I'm sorry. I Love you."
You moved your hand up to wipe away the tear that fell from his beautiful blue eyes. "Luke, I love you."
He kissed you swiftly before hugging you again. His arms stayed tightly around you. He held you close as afraid you would slip away yet again. The rest of the day you spent it with him. Listening to your favorite bands as he kissed your cheek and muttered how much he loves you.
You were thankful for him. You were thankful for the determination of Calum. You were just thankful to be back were you belonged, in his arms.
