L U K E

her voice was enough to drive anyone over the edge. her comments and observations were enough to make you commit suicide. but here I was sitting on the couch next to her as she bitches at me. I never believed I was up to her standards and by her assumptions and remarks at the momment, I am sure she is pointing that out. I sit silently thinking of the many reasons why I should have left months ago, I think I can recall Michael's choice of words if I didn't; "you a bitch if you stay!" and he was right I am a bitch. I lean back sighing a little too loud as her annoying voice vanished.

"are you even listening?" I looked to her as she crossed her arms giving me her original - I'm annoyed with you- glare. I rolled my eyes not wanting to deal with this dumb-ass issue nor her.

"you did not just roll your eyes at me, Luke I swear to god I will-"

"WHAT LEAVE!?! THERE'S THE DAMN DOOR" I yelled knowing sooner or later I was going to snap and I was thankful I finally said something.

her silence was music to my ears. I stayed in my position waiting for her to smack me, or some type of hit but as I looked to her and her phone was placed in her hands as she typed furiously. at this moment I didn't care who she was talking to or what she was even doing. as a knocking came to the door i stood up instantly. this bitch did not just get my mum over here.

"Luke you did not just yell at her and tell her to leave?" my mother's voice was stern as she looked to the now crying girl than myself. god, help me.

"mum, seriously you can't be taking her side?"

"Lucas! this girl has been the best thing to happen to you and you treat her with respect. Now apologize to her." I look to my mom wondering if she was actually serious, and my god she was. I grabbed my so-called girlfriend by her arm and pulled her with me as I wanted to get away from my mother's nosey ears as fast as I could.

"I can't believe you! getting my mum over here!" I yelled softly as I could as she tried to play that innocent card she always played.

"you yelled at me and you were being extremely rude as I did nothing wrong."

"Nothing wrong? don't play these games with me, you were declaring how I was a jackass and that you could do better....now do you think my mother should hear those terms come from you herself or do I have to make sure she hears them next time?" I raised a brow at her as her mouth as agape.

"now that's what I thought. I want oh to go out there and tell me, my mom, we worked everything out then go PACK your shit and leave. am I clear?"

she nodded. I walked out with her as she told my mother everything was fine between us. as soon as she left she headed upstairs and started to pack her stuff. I didn't care if she took some of mine. I just wanted her bitching ass gone. as I heard her come down the stairs I looked at her.

"Luke I'm.."

"save the apology for someone who cares." I turned back to face the television as it stayed black.

with the sound of the door opening and closing, I sighed in relief as silence finally took over.
