You're wasting your time.
no one knew the love that was felt between you to. he showed nothing but affection to you, you felt like you were the only one in the world he has ever been this personal with. but time change all of that. nothing was what it seemed to be and you were left on the curb.
you never wanted them to be right. you swore he was who you believed him to be. his mistakes were that, mistakes. you knew in time they would vanish, well mostly likely hoped that they would. but everyone was right.
there you expressed it they were right. his silence proved that. nothing he could say could fix the broken, numb feeling you had. he caused so much and it was nothing you could have seen coming.
you had thoughts that it was to good to be true. that everything was moving fast. but you were caught up in the love he had confessed to you. you were caught up in just him. just Calum Hood.
present day was what you didn't want to face. you didn't want the reality that would resurface the pain. but it was time. you knew the memories would still be there. you couldn't place the idea of him to what now was the real deal.
the ceiling never changed. it still had the same number of tiles immature how many time you would look up and count. the slamming of doors caused your eyes to dart to the door of the room.
a figure stood as his back was to you. his hands were placed on the wood of the door as he pushed his weight onto it. he let out a sigh as the door finally locked.
your eyes never left the figure. his breathing was staggered as he didn't turn to face you. you weren't possibly able to see who it was. the light in the room has vanished hours ago.
as he turned to you. the small portion of light illuminated his face. you froze. all the past memories you pushed back came forward. his eyes looked over you. his face held no emotion as his gaze was on you.
"you...you need to leave." you quickly spoke not wanting face this yet nor him.
"Courtney, let me explain please." his voice was low. something was placed behind his words. worry, regret, sadness. you couldn't really place your finger on it.
"Calum please leave."
"no. I'm going to explain all of this to you. then I will leave if you want me to."
"fine."
his footsteps were heard as you noticed him getting closer to the bed you were placed on. he noticed you panic state and grabbed the chair from desk.
he placed in front of the bed as he looked to you. not being able to look at him for so long you turned your gaze somewhere else.
"the agreement I made with him was a little to much. okay it was a lot to much. the effectiveness of it all was obviously to extreme. I do love you. I proved that you as in any random girl would date me and do more. but the agreement wasn't for money it was so I could get with his girl.
the deal was signed and sealed. and I had to pass through many many angry guys to get up here and talk to you. thankfully you were able to leave him. after I found out he abused you I broke the deal. you deserve better then that. and better then me.
but Courtney i do love you more then anything and a retry would he brilliant."
during his explanation you watched him fiddle with his fingers as he didn't look at you. he put you up to sale, he made your life hell and nothing could change that. the small hatred you had for him was there. but the love you had was growing with every second your eyes looked to him.
"Calum I love you so much." as those words left your mouth his eyes widen as he looked up at you. "but I can't be back with you. it's just to much pain, to rethink and be afraid that it would happen again. I think it's best if to leave."
his head hung low as he stood back to his feet and head towards the door. the door opened with ease as you knew the three outside were obviously listening.
he looked back to you as you kept you gaze to the wall. you heard his deep sigh as the door was soon shut behind him.
you heart dropped as tears streamed down your face. you laid on your side as you couldn't help but sob. you had the chance to get him back but you blew him off. you couldn't help but think that was the worst mistake of your life.
