Chapter 17: Mine

Blaze's p.o.v

"How do you suggest we figure out what our powers are?"

I ask Derek as we all stand. I walk over to my mate and take her hand. A beautiful smile graces her lips as sparks fly between us.

She pecks my lips and I look out of the corner of my eye. I notice Cole has been glaring at me ever since he found out Tessa and I were mates. Gent has also been bugging me about how I need to be more possessive.

"I can't believe your mine."

I whisper as I pull her closer by her waist. She smiles and pecks my lips. I see Colton clench and unclench his fists as he closes his eyes.

"I, Colton Mills, rejected Madlyn Pendragon as my mate!"

Cole shouts and Maddy screams out in pain as she clutches her chest. Tears stream down her face and hear Tessa gasp.

"Colton!"

Altaïr roars as he storms over to Cole and grabs the back of his neck and forces him out of the room. Kaden and Alex rush over to Maddy who is on the floor crying her eyes out.

"Madelyn!"

Kaden yelled out as he rushed over to his sobbing daughter. She clung to him as she sobbed.

"Let's leave them."

Annachi said and we all left. We went out into the hall way to see Altaïr scolding Cole.

"Look at what you did boy! I thought I raised you better than this! What on earth would cause you to reject the one made for you!!??"

Altaïr shouted at Cole who stood strong against his father.

"I tried dad! I tried to fall in love with my mate! I couldn't! I tried and I can't! My heart belongs to another."

Colton yells back and Gent growls inside my mind. I pull Tessa closer to my body and I enhale her scent.

"Who? who stole your heart?! The heart that was supposed to be Madelyn's?"

Altaïr yelled back at Coltom and Colton looked directly at Tessa. Gent was growling lowly in my mind afraid of his answer.

"Tessa."

He spoke in a powerful voice and that's when Gent took complete control.

Gent's p.o.v

He loves what's mine and that is not acceptable. I open my eyes and everyone gasps. My eyes are a blazing red with black around my pupil. The red that you see on a fire truck.

I growled and pushed Tessa behind me. Altaïr didn't look me in the eyes yet Cole did.

"She's mine pup."

I growled out at him. My voice is a decent deep type. If Colton makes the wrong move or says the wrong thing I'll shift and it will take a lot to stop me.

"Don't you think I know that! I can't help it that I fell for her."

He yells at me and Altaïr let's his wolf take over. His eyes glow gold as he steps into a area between Cole and I.

"Gent, she's yours and yours alone. We all know you would easily over power Colton. Even if he is being a fool."

Altaïr's wolf said. I growled again and Colton growled back this time. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned my head to see my beautiful mates eyes growling Orange. This orange is like a brand new Blaze orange, only brighter. Slightly darker orange surrounds her pupil.

"Gent."

Her wolf, War, says. I pull her in front of me as I hold her hand.

"War."

I speak softly and she cups my cheek in a comforting way. She presses herself up against me as she lays her head on my shoulder.

"I'm yours, only yours."

She whispers loud enough for everyone to hear. Even though she said she's mine I still feel the need to keep Colton away from her.

Cole growls at the affection she's showing me and I growl back at him. War's eyes flash an unruly bright orange for a second before she turns around so fast her hair hits me in the face.

"Watch it pup!"

She yells as she approaches Colton. I look to my left to be met with unbelievably bright green eyes that belong to Abe's wolf, Unity. Next to him the crazy neon purple eyes of Emma's wolf, energy, stand.

"Someone's gonna get beat."

Unity whispers to me and I nod.

"I am Blaze and Gent's mate not yours! I don't belong to you! I am not ment to bare your children and I am certainly not going to be in a romantic relationship with you."

War shouted as I watch Cole's eyes turn from green to a insanely bright neon yellow. The transition was slow, maybe cause Cole was fighting his wolf.

"You must forgive me. Cole's heart belongs with you but my heart is with my mate. I can't reverse what my idoit of a human has done but I can apologize for it. Unfortunately I can't change his mind only he can do that."

His wolf says and I walk up to war and wrap my arm around her.

"I'm Hype by the way."

His wolf says as he holds out his hand. I growl and he retracts it.

"I see, well I should get going. Dad would you come with so you can continue your talk with my human?"

Hype asked and Altaïr nodded. They both walked off and I returned my attrition to my mate. She closes her eyes and reopens them to reveal there brown color I adore.

I was about to close my eyes when the door to the conference room opens. Out walks kaden, Madelyn, and alex. All of them gasp when they see my eyes.

"What happened out here to cause that?"

Kaden asked and I sighed.

"Go ask Altaïr, he'll explain it."

I tell them and alex nods.

"Where is he?"

She asks as she flips some of her brown hair over her shoulder.

"Outside maybe."

Tessa answers and alex nods and walks past us. Madelyn walks up to me and looks into my eyes.

"Thank you Blaze, for standing up for me."

She says and I sigh.

"I stood up for my mate but she told Colton off. His wolf says his heart is with you but Cole's isn't. I'm sorry."

I tell her and she nods. Kaden leader her away and I turn back to my friends. They all gasp and I become confused.

"What?"

I ask them and they look into our eyes.

"Your eyes."

Derek says and I take Tessa's hand and we run to the nearest mirror. I look in the mirror to see that my eyes have orange around one pupil instead of black. Tessa let's her wolf have control and War's eyes have red around the pupil instead of dark orange.

"What does this mean?"
