Chapter 46: battle speech

Blaze's p.o.v

It's been two days since we got the battle warning. Tonight we are getting an early rest so we can rose early in the morning. We want to be at the ready before they are. Even though I have faith that we will win I can't help but feel nervous.

A million questions are running through my head. Many of them begin with "What if" and "What next".  Even with my mate in my arms I can't help but be nervous. I know we will have the power of our wolves but so will they.

"Blaze."

My mate whispers out and i look down at her as i stroke her hair. She looks up at me with her head on my chest.

"Tessa."

I whisper back and she wraps her arms around me. I smile being inside my mates arms. I can't help but feel safe.

"I'm nervous."

She whispers out and i sit up. She follows my movements and I pull her onto my lap. It's around 7 o clock and everyone should be getting to sleep for the early rise tomorrow. Tessa wraps her legs around me and she pulls herself closer. I lean my head in the crook of her neck and I enhale her addictive scent.

"I am too, but we will be fine."

I tell her as I press a soft kiss to her neck. She nods and lays her head on my shoulder. She closes her eyes and falls asleep. I sigh and lay down with her still in my arms. I close my eyes and fall asleep.

A very loud trumpet woke us up yet again today. This time though, the sun wasn't even up. As I slowly got out of bed I looked around.

Tessa was already up and getting dressed. She had on a black shirt and black kombat pants. Her long dark brown hair was tied back in a pony tail. Her black tee shirt was tight on her and it hugged her curves. Her kombat pants were also black but they were only tight around the thighs and a little tight around the lower leg. She was placing some Wepons on her body as I stood up to get dressed.

I threw on a dark blue shirt and dark blue kombat pants. The dark blue tee shirt was slightly loose but mainly tight around my arms and chest. The pants were tight around the waist in order to keep them up. I placed a knife around my thigh, bicep, and two around my waist. I had a bullet proof vest on my chest with a AK47 with a grenade launcher attached to it. I had about 8 grenades attached to my belt along with several magazines of ammo.

I looked behind me at my beautiful mate. She had out a make up bag which was weird as she never wore makeup. She turned around after she zipped up the make up bag. Her face had some brown markings along with some black markings as well. They were in blobs and they were faded. Camouflage, go figure.

She had on a bullet proof vest and she had a radio on her belt. She also had grenades and a sniper rifle with a mag of sniper rounds. She placed a knife in her boot, around her thigh, on her fore arm, and two on her belt. She had some grenades as well. We don't need to worry about our Wepons and cloths when we shift. We had a witch enchant them to not rip or break.

I turned back to my mirror and began to just stare at myself. I had no make up for camouflage. All my Wepons were on me, wait, why did she have a radio.

"Why do you have a radio?"

I ask her as I turn around. She looks up from filling up a cartridge of ammo to me.

"I get to call in the air strike."

She says with a slight smile on her face. I nod and sit next to her.

"Can you do my camouflage?"

I ask her and she nods. She stands up and goes to her make up. She walks back over to me and gets to work. She takes some black eye shadow and brushes some on my cheeks, forehead, and around my nose. She then takes some brown thing and dabs that all over my face then she grabs some green stuff and smudges it on her hands before she rubs it on my face.

"Done."

She says as I walk towards the mirror. Her work is awesome. You can't even tell it's me with this!

"Thanks and we should get going."

I tell her and she nods. She grabs her radio and runs out of the room with me behind her. We run out of the tent and towards the large crowd near the edge of the camp. Tessa and I push through the crowd to the front where we see everyone on stage. We run up and stand next to them.

"Today is the day in which we fight. We fight for a better future for our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. This ground in which you stand will be where many of you will die and perish. But fear not! Your sacrifice will not be in vain, for we are going to bring down a empire that has rose to become a great threat to all! Demitri will fall soon by our mighty hand. We will rid the world of this threat by killing him ourselves."

Wyatt began to say and when he stopped he looked to one of us to continue. Tessa stepped forward.

"Today many of will will fall and die. This ground will be stained with blood for millenniums to come. But not just evil blood, no, but also the blood of many brave and honorable souls such as yourselves. Today I wish that the evil blood on this ground will over power the honorable blood. That means that the evil is dead and the brave will live on.

I have the feeling that we will win. We have a Rouge rouge among us and he has become a great friend.

We will win this battle because I said so! We will win this battle because we say so! And again I day we will win! Will we win?"

Tessa shouts out and cheers are heard . The loud cheers are those of hope and motivation.

"Those cheers are of motivation and hope. I know we will win this battle against demitri. Now is the time. Here is the place!"

Kaden shouted and the cheers only got louder.

"On us men!"

Raven, Annachi, Tex, Tessa, and Ace shouted as they all jumped towards the feild. They all shifted mid jump and began a run towards the middle of the feild. I chuckled and jumped on the back of a random wolf.

It's time to fight.
