Chapter 29: powers (Part 1)

Tessa's p.o.v

Griffen lead Blaze and I away from the group of our friends and the area littered with the dead bodies of rouges. We were behind the pack house where there was lots of room.

We all went behind different trees and shifted back into our human forms. I got dressed in a grey tee shirt and jeans. I walked out to see Griffen and Blazd shirtless and in Jean shorts.

"Okay so how do we start?"

Blaze asks and Griffen pulls out a notebook. He read something over and looked back at us.

"Tessa when you think if your personality what element do you think of?"

Griffen asked me as a lady with long blonde hair walked into my view.

"Fire I guess."

I tell him and he writes that down. The lady with long blonde hair got closer and I got a good look at her. She had tanned skin and blue eyes, the mark on her neck said Adem and she was rather short.

"Blaze when you think if your personality what do you think of?"

The lady asked Blaze and he shrugged.

"I don't know. I'm calm and gentle but I can also be powerful and strong. So wind or earth."

Blaze said and the lady with long blonde hair touched the back of his hand.

"Air."

She said and she moved over to me. She grabbed my hand and touched the back of it. She furrowed her eyebrows and touched two fingers to my forehead.

"Fire."

She spoke out and i furrowed my eyebrows. She backed away to stand next to Griffen.

"What are you talking about?"

I asked them and Griffen looked to the lady.

"I'm Romen, daughter of the moon goddess and I'm here to help you with your powers."

She said and i laughed while Blaze was shocked. Romen and Griffen looked confused and I laughed harder.

"Why are you laughing child?"

Romen asked me and I sighed as I pulled myself together.

"You seriously expect me to believe that?"

I asked with a amused smirk on my face. She gasps as she walks towards me.

"Do you not believe me?"

She asks and I nod. She touches my forehead and a vision appears before me. It's the vision of when Blaze marked me.

"How the heck?!"

I ask and she smirks and walks back by Griffen's side. Blaze smiles down at me and I look back towards them.

"So Tessa because you have fire close your eyes and imagine something on fire."

Romen said and I did as told. I imagined Griffen's notebook on fire. I opened my eyes to see Griffen's notebook on fire as he screamed. He dropped the notebook and Romen turned to Blaze.

"Blaze now imagine a gust of wind putting her fire out."

Romen said and Blaze did as told. He shut his eyes and I felt a strong gust of wind and the fire went out.

"That's unbelievable!"

Blaze shouted and I smiled.

"Now comes the hard part. Blaze I want you to imagine a small twister in the palm of your hand. Tessa I was you to imagine a flame floating above your hand."

Romen said and Blaze and I closed our eyes. Floating flame above my hand. I thought and I felt a little head above my hand. I opened my eyes to see a little ball of fire above my hand. I looked over and Blaze was messing with his little twister. His twister appeared grey because it might of been how he imagined it.

"Now take your hands and put them together."

Romen said and Blazd and I took our hands with our powers and placed them together. I felt heat and wind hit my hand and Blaze did as well.

"Now pull your hands away quickly."

Romen said and Blaze and I pulled our hands away. The twister that was once grey was now glowing with fire. It had flames coming off the wind gusts and it was about hip hight.

"Now you both can control your part of it. Tessa can control the heat factor and Blazd can control the wind factor. You can make it smaller or larger."

Romen said and I thought about a large fire. I opened my eyes to see that the flames were spinning around like flags. Blaze closed his eyes and the twister grew to my hight. I chose to make the fire smaller before my hair caught fire, so I closed my eyes and made the fire smaller.

"Good job guys. To make the fire twister go away just remove your elements completely."

Romen said and I closed my eyes and thought about the fire going out. I felt the heat and wind go away and I opened my eyes. The twister was gone and so was the fire.

"Now you are able to use your powers separately as long as both of you are alive. If you want to use them together then you must be able to hold hands."

Romen said and I nodded.

"What else can we do with this?!"

I ask with excitement in my voice. Romen giggled and placed her hands behind her back. She pulled out a knife and lunged at Blaze.........

She lunged at Blazd and I ran towards them. A circle of fire surrounded us and Romen smirked as she places the knife back behind her.

"Your powers will also kick in when you or your mate are threatened."

She said and i felt a arm go around my neck. I felt my oxygen get cut off and my eyes drifted to Griffen.

My eyes widened and a strong gust of wind forces Griffen off me. I fell to the ground and Blaze helped me up. He hugged me and I hugged him back.

"See, it works for both parties."

She says and I sigh. She walks off and so does Griffen. Blazd and I begin to walk back when all of a sudden we hear someone yell.

"INCOMING!!!!!"

I hear Cole yell and I look up to see a tree being thrown our way. Blazd grabbed my hand and a gust if wind carried my large fire ball to towards the tree. The tree disintegrated and Colton came running towards us.

"Nice powers guys."

Cole says and I laugh.

"You tried to kill me with a tree."

Blaze says with a 'seriously' type face. Truth be told it amuses me.

"Yup."
