Chapter 59: Valkry

Wolfe's p.o.v (what's this?!)

We all sat around the fire as we waited for Maddy to return. I was informed on what that poor excuse for a werewolf did to her. If I was permitted I would beat him to a pulp. Maddy is such a kind, loving, gentle, and slightly outspoken girl. Who would want to hurt her?

The sound of paws thumping against the sad pulled out attention away from the fire. We saw Maddy walking back and Colgon charging at her in wolf form. We all stood up as he tackled her down and marked her.

'He forced marked a female! Teach him a lesson!'

My wolf yelled at me and all of us ran towards him. Maddy slowly closed her eyes as Blaze and Dante tackled Cole. Jasmine and Tessa picked Maddy up and I shifted. Both Jasmine and Tessa climbed on my back with Madelyn between them. I bolted off while everyone else handled colton.

I ran towards the only medical bay we left standing which was all the way at base camp. After a few minutes I ran into base camp and towards the medical bay.

I stopped outside the medical bay and Jasmine and Tessa hopped off carried Madelyn inside. I shifted and threw on a pair of shorts. I walked in after the two girls.

Madelyn was laying on a bed with an IV in her arm. She had a heart monitor thing on her finger and the doctor, who happened to be Thea, was examining her neck.

"Well what happened exactly?"

Thea asked Jasmine and Tessa and Tessa crossed her arms over her chest as she sighed.

"Colton forced marked Maddy. We don't know what words were exchanged before it happened though."

Jasmine tells Thea and she nods. Thea touches Madelyn's mark and Maddy winced.

"Tessa let me see your mark."

Thea says and Tessa walks next to her. Thea examins Tessa's mark which wasn't a force marking. Thea goes back and fourth between the two girls examining their marks.

"It appears to me that Maddy should be fine. It's just that when a she wolf is forcefully marked it makes the drowsiness of the marking process happen almost imeaditly. She should wake up in a few hours."

Thea says and Jasmine and Tessa sigh in relief. Now it's time for me to deal with Colton. I walk out of the tent and I see someone I thought I wouldn't see for a while.

"Wolfe!"

"Valkry!"

I shout and we run towards each other. My mate wraps her arms around me and I wrap mine around her. I pick her up and spin her around all the while not breaking the hug.

Her brown and red tipped hair fly behind her as I spin her. When I set her down her brown eyes look into mine and I kiss her lips. She kisses back as we still have our arms wrapped around each other.

"What are you doing here?"

I asked her as I pulled away. She smiled as she held my hand. I relished in the long missed sparks that flew between us.

"Wolfe I left the day after you left. I have some amazing news!"

She tells me and I furrow my eyebrows. Her lips are in a full smile as she holds my hand. Her eyes have a glint of happiness to them as well.

"What?"

I ask with a smirk on my lips. She takes a few deep breaths and looks into my eyes.

"Oh screw trying to be serious. Wolfe I'm pregnant."

She says and I gasp. A smile makes its way onto my face. I chuckle and look into her eyes.

"I'm going to be a dad? Your serious?"

I ask her and she nods. I smile and laugh some more.

"I'm going to be a dad."

I say softly and my eyes widen. I stand up and pump my fist I'm the air.

"I'm going to be a dad!"

I shout and she laughs. We have been trying for many years ever since I found her on that abandoned fueling station in the middle of the ocean. Let's just say that the day I met her we both almost died, litterly. We were almost blown up by an RPG.

I pulled her up and pressed her lips to mine. A smile on both our faces as we laughed. We are so happy now, it only adds to our happiness that the battle will be officially over tomorrow with demitri's execution.
