Tessa's p.o.v
After Blaze and I got home we laid on the bed and cried. I felt safe and secure in his arms. It made me feel like he is the only person who want judge me for showing emotion. In the end, I felt much better.
"I should take a shower. To wash all this make up off."
I tell Blaze and he nods. I was still in the beautiful dress and Blaze was still in his suit. He loosens his hold on me and I slide off the bed. I walk over to the bathroom where our towels still hang. I shut the door behind me and turn the light on.
I turn the shower water on and let it warm up. I look in the mirror and gasp at what I see. The being standing before me, is not me. It has soaked hair that sticks to its face, messed up make up from crying, and a wrinkled dress. It looks terrible.
I take off the jacket and dress as well as unzip the boots. I strip down the rest of the way and climb into the hot shower. I turned on some music before I got into the shower. I listen to the song and that's when the words truly do process in my head.
"When we scream, our lips don't make a sound. We walk, with feet on hollow ground."
I sing as I place some shampoo in my hand. Out of no where a pair of strong arms wrap around my waist. I gasp but soon relax as I feel the sparks.
"Blaze."
I softly say as I relax into him. Being in his embrace is the best feeling in the world. The sparks with the hot water spraying on our bodies it just feels amazing.
"Tessa."
He whispers as he places his head in the crook of my neck. I pat his arm and he let's me wash the shampoo out of my hair. He has his back to me which I'm thankful for. You could say, I'm not the most comfortable with my body.
He rubs his shampoo in his hair as I wash mine out. When my shampoo is all washed out we trade places. My back is to him as I rub my conditioner in. I can feel his stare on my back as he washes his shampoo out.
"Tessa, can you turn to look at me?"
Blaze asks me and my eyes widen. I turn my head so I look over my shoulder at him.
"You know what I mean."
He softly says and I sigh as I bring my head back to its natural position. I feel his hands on my hips as he turns me around. I have my head down so I can hide my embarrassingly red cheeks. I hate being pale sometimes, but then again I never blush. I have my eyes closed as well.
"Hey look at me."
He says as he lifts my chin up with two fingers. I look up and into his brown eyes. His eyes stay locked with mine and neither of us look away.
"Mate."
I can't help but whisper out. Blaze flashes me a one million dollar smile as his eyes don't leave mine.
"Mate."
He says back and he pulls me into a hug. I smile as I lay my head against his wet chest.
"We should probably finish our shower."
I tell him as I pull away and wash out my conditioner. Once my conditioner is completely out I get out of the shower.
I begin to dry off as I hear the shower stop running. Blaze climbs out and grabs his towel. I wrap the towel around my body as I walk out of the room. I grab a black tank top, blue jeans, and my undergarments and change into them. I walk back into the bathroom and brush my hair.
Once I'm done with that Blaze just throws on some boxers and lays in bed. I lay next to him and I lay my head on his chest.
"I love you."
Blaze tells me as he looks up from his phone. I smile and cup his cheek with my hand.
"I love you too."
I tell him as I lean in to kiss him. Our lips connect and a knock is sounded at the door. In walks Madelyn and she laughs when she sees us.
"Come on you love birds. We need to torture this bastard."
She yells and runs out. I look to Blaze and he looks to me.
"She's drunk."
We both say and walk after her. But my only thought is who the heck permits us to drink?
We do.
