The Fairy And The Wolf

Long ago, in the empire of Ru'an, was a large forest of magical creatures, known as the Enchanted Forest.

The trees almost reached the clouds, with lush emerald green leafs attached to the dark chocolate brown oak trees. The petals on the exotic flowers glimmered like gemstones, and each had a different power to it. The water was clearer than crystals, and filled with life.

Many creatures lived in the Enchanted Forest. Werewolves, Meif'wa, Dragons, Fairies, Elves, Witches, Warlocks, anything not human.

"Maybe he'll like this one?" Gene, a Werewolf, asked himself, picking a black rose from the bush. "It has thorns.... his flowers all have thorns! Yeah, I remember... also, black roses are one of the rarest flowers in the Enchanted Forest, since they don't have magical powers."

"You have very good eyes..."

Gene looked over his shoulder, and saw a pale Fairy sitting on a giant red mushroom with yellow spots.

His hair was raven black and covering one eye, with the other eye being an ice blue. His wings had the pattern of crystals, and had a white glow to them. Dotting his face were freckles, which made him ten times cuter than the average Fairy.

"Zane!" Gene smiled, running over to the ice powered Fairy. "You're actually out of the den?"

"Yes...." Zane answered quietly, reaching up and touching Gene's Werewolf ears. "I managed to sneak out with the help of Blaze, Dottie, Rylan, and Daniel..."

"You know how risky that is." He growled, unhappy that Zane had taken the risk. "If the Alpha finds out..."

"I know what he'll do." He sighed, pulling his hand back. "But you have to remember.... I'm the Fairy of the Wolves, plus they're only pups."

"That really doesn't mean anything, Zane." Gene frowned. "The Alpha still has the power to pass judgment on a pup, so he can pass judgment on four pups as well. As for you.... you were taken from your home because of him..."

Zane frowned, before looking to the black rose in Gene's hand. He gasped quietly, prying the flower from the older male's hand. He set the rose aside, before taking and examining Gene's hand.

"Gene, you big fur ball..." Zane groaned, before picking a small bluebell flower that glowed lime green.

"Hey, at least I got you another flower." Gene shrugged, wagging his tail.

"You didn't have to do that..." He frowned, looking up into his teal blue eyes. "You could have seriously gotten hurt!"

"Oh? Since when was Zane Ro'Meave a softie?" He teased, giving the Fairy a toothy grin.

"S-Shut up....." He pouted, gritting his teeth. "I-It's my job to take care of the pack..."

"Yeah, I know..." He frowned, remembering the Alpha introducing the pack to Zane.

"Should we h-head back...?" Zane asked, looking around with worry.

"Yeah..." Gene nodded, before picking Zane up bridal style. "The Alpha will notice that you're gone and send someone like Ein out to find you..."

Zane whimpered at the mention of Ein's name. He clutched the collar of Gene's shirt, restring his head on his chest. Gene frowned, before running off with Zane in his arms.

He stopped in front of a cave opening, before setting Zane down on his feet. He leaned in closer, before licking Zane's cheek.

Zane got his face licked all the time by the Werewolf pack, especially the pups. He never did like the feeling of their slobber sticking to his skin and trickling down him. The worst licking problems were with the pups. They never knew when to stop, and it was so bad that there always needed to be at least two adults by Zane at all times.

"Gene.... Zane.... there you two are."

Gene and Zane looked up, and saw their Alpha approaching them. He had black hair and untamed red eyes. When his gaze landed on Zane, the Fairy immediately looked away, to avoid becoming a Werewolf.

"Where have you two been!?" The Alpha demanded.

"I.... we...." Zane couldn't find the correct words.

"I had taken Zane to the Fairy log, w trying to catch more Fairies." Gene lied, covering up Zane's mistake. "We didn't catch any, unfortunately.

"Well then...." He blinked, before narrowing his eyes.

"Aaron!?" Aphmau called from inside the wolf den. "Honey!?"

"Coming, babe!!" Aaron yelped, before running back inside the den.

"That was a close one..." Zane let out a shaky sigh of relief.

"Yeah...." Gene agreed with a nod, before hugging the Fairy again.

"H-Huh...?" He whispered, a bit surprised.

"My little Fairy of Wolves...." He chuckled a bit, before lifting Zane's chin to meet eyesight.

"Gene....?" The Fairy asked quietly, his wings fluttering.

Gene leaned forward, before pressing his lips to Zane's. He pinned Zane to a nearby tree, before putting his hand up his shirt.

"Whoa." Zane said, pulling away from the kiss and taking Gene's hand out form his shirt. "We're not going there."

"Lemme smash." Gene pouted, his tail wagging.

"No Gene." He shook his head, before pulling him down by his shirt collar. "There are children."

"Kiss then?" He asked, his eyes hopeful and just like a puppy's eyes.

"Fiiiine..... I'll give you a kiss.." He sighed, giving in to the adorableness.

Gene smiled, before smashing his face onto Zane's soft pink lips. Zane let out a muffled complaint, before melting into the kiss.

"Ewwww!!!!!!" The pups cried, gagging. "Kissing!!!!"

"Can I please kiss my Fairy!?" Gene groaned, pulling away from Zane.

"Apparently not." Aphmau laughed, before leading the pups away.

Zane shook his head, smiling softly. He flapped his wings, before hovering a bit above Gene's shoulders. He touched his ears again, before hugging his head.

"Oh, so now you want me?" Gene asked.

"Not in that way." Zane frowned. "This is a child friendly oneshot!"

"A.... what?" He asked.

"Oh nothing." He giggled.
