The Angel of Ink (Part 1)

NOTE: This will be one of the few updates I will do. I spent a lot of time working on this and coming upo with the idea!

"I don't remember any of this..."

Gene muttered this to himself as he moved through the unfamiliar grounds. Thirty years after leaving this studio... he never expected to come back. In fact, he probably never would have come back if it weren't for the letter he got in the mail from his old friend... Aphmau...

The room was large and wide, probably the tallest room in the vast world flooding with ink so far. A wide contraption that resembled a machine reached from the floor to the ceiling, thick ink cascading down some of the sides like a waterfall. A sign was attached to it, just above the midsection of it. The letters were all capitalized, entirely black and slanted slightly. Stage lights were angled towards it, so the words were visible.

HEAVENLY TOYS.

"I definitely don't remember any of this." Gene repeated, eyeing the large stuffed dolls resting against the base area of the machine.

The two large stuffed dolls weren't the only toys in the area, but they were the ones to catch his attention first. On the left side was a large stuffed doll version of Garroth the dancing Demon, tipped over just a bit with a faded smile. On the right side was a large stuffed doll version of Vylad the Wolf, sitting upright and only having a small splash of ink on the shoulder.

Approaching the sign placed directly in the middle of the base, Gene couldn't shake the eerie feeling from his spine. It felt as though someone was watching him... but he'd been feeling that way ever since he first set foot in this cursed place. Still... he would always check behind him for anyone trying to ambush him.

The words on the sign were faded and hard to make out, but from what little Gene could see and make out, he assumed that they were prices for the toys. It was divided into three sections-- of which he also assumed were for each character.
