"Sweet Caroline duh duh duh" I heard Rob sing walking wrapping his arms around me from behind and spinning me around.
"I'm so glad you're here" I said wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him, again and again.
"Boy am I glad to be here" Rob said pushing me up against the counter kissing me again.
"Alright, you two" Chris said with a laugh. "We know it's been awhile, but at least head up to that master suite Caroline claimed."
"Good to see you all" Rob said letting go of me and bro hugging his brothers and Sam and Max.
"We all know we're not the reason you're happy to be here. Just come outside when you two are done" Gordie said.
"We are done" I said handing Rob a drink, "you go change and I'll be outside." I kissed his cheek.
Rob walked out, "aren't you going to help me unpack?" he asked smiling at me.
"You're a big boy" I said, "I think you can manage on your own."
"I would really like some alone time with my fiancé" Rob said looking at me expectantly.
"Alrighty" I said getting up from my spot around the pool.
"We're on the third floor" Rob said with a laugh following me up the stairs.
"Like Chris said, I did snag a pretty good room."
I sat down on the bed, "God, I've missed you so much" Rob said kissing me again.
"Rob, you need to unpack" I said interrupting him.
"It can wait" Rob said kissing me again and this time I kissed back.
I felt Rob's hand go underneath my shirt, "Rob, now?" I asked. "They're expecting us to come down at some point."
"It's been over two weeks, I've missed you" Rob said kissing my neck.
"That sure was a long unpacking" Chris said with a wink. "Last time I checked Rob travels pretty light."
"We had a lot of catching up to do" Rob said his hand squeezed my butt.
"I think us girls are going to take a walk on the beach, you think y'all can manage for like an hour?" I asked.
"W'ill only have mild injuries" Sam said with a smirk.
"Let's keep it to ones that just need a kiss to make better, got it? Bruises and scrapes only."
"Yes Ma'am" Rob said leaning in to kiss me again, and if this is what he needs so be it. He is right, we haven't seen each other in two weeks and we're getting married.
"Alright, it's time for you to go" Max said, "enjoy your girl time."
I walked down the beach with my mom, Tami, Nene, Liz, Morgan, and Diane.
"You seem a lot more relaxed sense Rob got here" mom said looking at me.
I shrugged, "it's been a long transition, but I finally feel more relaxed when he's around than when he's gone."
"And there's a wedding in the future" Diane said excited.
"Yep" I said, "and lot's of changes to come" letting out a deep breath.
We walked back and I saw Rob, he seems pretty content hanging out, shooting the shit with the guys.
I laid out on a lounge chair. A few moments later I felt a kiss on my shoulder "babe, why don't we go sit on the beach and talk for a few minutes?" Rob asked.
"We've done plenty of talking" I said, "just go hang out with the boys."
"Come on" Rob said sticking out his hand.
We walked down where the waves can hit our feet and sat down. "I love you" Rob said, "and I know sometimes my injuries can be hard on you. Especially because of the freak accident with Jack, but I need you to be okay with me playing football and the collateral damage."
"Okay" I said quietly leaning against him. "Rob, right now I'm just glad to have you back. I'm looking forward to getting to sleep in a bed with you tonight and just you know, I've really missed you."
"I've missed you too" Rob said kissing my temple.
"So you ready to be on the road with me?" I asked with a laugh.
"About that, until this arm heals, I'll have to make some occasional trips to Boston" Rob said
"Rob, that's fine" I said. "I get it, it's not like I don't work at all when we're in Boston."
"Great" Rob said, leaning in and kissing me. "You know, I think I'm kinda getting a migraine."
"Oh shut up" I said with a laugh shoving him with my shoulder.
"Hey, we're making up for the two weeks we missed" Rob said smirking at me.
"I have to go get some work done, and then I'm gonna get ready for dinner" I said standing up.
I gathered my stuff up around the pool, "babe" I looked over at Rob who's playing cards with the guys.
"You sure you don't need any help?" he asked.
"I'm pretty sure I can answer emails and take a shower all on my own, but thanks for your concern" I said and pecked him on the lips before walking inside.
I finished checking emails and hopped in the shower, "babe" there was a knock on the bathroom door and then it opened.
"I thought you would have been done by now" Rob said.
"I got distracted answering emails" I said, "I'll be out in a few."
"No need, we can share" Rob said stripping down.
"Rob, everyone is in the house right now getting ready" I said.
"And? Exactly they're all getting ready. We shouldn't have any interruptions" he opened the shower door and got in.
"We're just showering together" I said, "no sex."
"No sex, just two naked adults who are very attracted to each other, showering together" Rob said with a smirk.
"You are definitely not helping your case right now" I said closing my eyes.
"Come here" Rob said pulling me into a hug, "I know you're tired."
"I'm so tired, I felt like I was playing catch up the last two weeks" I said, wrapping my arms around him. "And worrying about you."
"You've worn yourself out, it's okay" Rob said and I felt a kiss on the top of my head.
"We still have a decent amount of time. Let's get you clean, and then I'll give you a massage, okay?" Rob said.
"I'm really done, I was just standing in here day dreaming" I said.
"Even better" Rob said shutting off the water. "Just let me take care of you, okay?"
"Fine, but no carrying me, I know your back is messed up" I said looking up at him.
I got out and Rob helped me dry off, he handed me a t-shirt to throw on.
"Now you just lay down and relax, I've caused you a fair share of stress these last few weeks, and even with one hand I think I can do a pretty good job" Rob said and I got into the bed.
