Boston (Book 2 Rob and Caroline)

Jacuzzi

"This is so much fun" I said straddling Rob's lap and kissing him. "You good?"

"Yeah, I'm just relaxing" Rob said smiling at me. "This is fun, you seem pretty relaxed."

"I'm very relaxed" I said, leaning in and kissing him again.

"God, how did I end up with someone as gorgeous as you" he said smiling at me. "Go have fun, I'm all good."

We all sat at the bar in the marina having a drink when we got back and I could see Rob getting antsy to leave. "I think we're going to head out early and have dinner at home" I said going over and giving my grandfather a hug.

"Enjoy" he said I went around and said my goodbyes.

"I can't believe you two are tapping out early" Dan said with a smile.

"The sun got the best of me, I'm tired" Rob said.

"And I have work to do" I said, "we'll see you all when you get home."

"Uh huh" Glenn joked, "you two have fun."

We got in the car and I smiled at Rob from the passenger seat, "I'm so impressed you actually took the initiative to exit" he said squeezing my hand.

"I know we need alone time" I said, "and I mean wow I loved being on that boat today, it just was so relaxing."

"Yes, it was, I enjoyed seeing you so happy" he placed his hand on my thigh.

I closed my eyes while we drove back to the house, "and also notice no body guards." He said opening my car door.

"I'm very impressed" I said, "we're going to actually get alone time."

"Yep" he said as we walked inside. "Now what do we need to do tonight?"

"I need to take a shower, and eat dinner, and I would think about trying to figure out my laundry situation" I said, "Obviously I'm always needing to answer emails and work on music."

"Alrighty" Rob said sitting me on the counter.

"Rob, you shouldn't be lifting me up" I said scolding him.

"You're light" he shrugged, "okay, so here's the deal" he put a hand on my face getting my attention. "You are going to go take a nice soak in that huge jacuzzi tube we have, I will make us some sort of dinner and go through both our clothes and make a dirty pile."

"That's not necessary" I said fighting him, "this is your vacation too."

"Caroline, this is what I want" he said, "now go."

"Aren't you going to get in the jacuzzi with me? I don't think it's really meant to be a one person activity" I smiled at him.

"Is that what you want?" he asked, "because if you want some space to decompress and relax I'd understand."

"Robby, I want you to get in the jacuzzi with me" I said leaning in and kissing his neck. "I'll be waiting" I hopped off the counter and started running upstairs.

"Do you want a glass of wine?" he called after me.

"I've never been one to turn down wine" I yelled back heading into our room.

I turned on the water, and stripped down before getting in.

"Now I'm a little big for this tub" Rob said walking in and handing me a glass.

"Guess that means we will have to be close" I said smiling at him, "cheers to enjoying our night."

"Cheers" we clinked glasses. He got in, squeezing in behind me.

"How much time do you think we have before everyone gets back?" I asked as Rob started kissing my neck.

"Gordy said he would keep them out for awhile" Rob said his hands wandering my front. "So don't worry about it."

Should I tell him that I thought we could have slipped up and I could have been pregnant but I took a test and I'm not. Or is that completely unnecessary drama?

I closed my eyes, "you're tensing up babe" Rob said, "you've got to relax." He kissed my neck.

"I am relaxed" I said, "I'm glad we decided to take the time for this."

"We needed this" he said caressing my front, nibbling on my ear.
