Boston (Book 2 Rob and Caroline)

I just want to be married

"Good morning" Rob said, I felt a kiss on my lips. I sleepily pulled him into me, kissing him again.

"Wow, babe" Rob said with a laugh, "I come bringing coffee. Your family is downstairs cooking breakfast."

I closed my eyes, "they barely went home last night and they're already back?" I pulled him in for another kiss, letting my hands run further down his torso, and pulling at him.

He got back into bed. "Guess you slept well," I could almost feel the smirk on his face as I leaned in and kissed him again.

I heard our door open, "Time for... you all make your way down whenever." Sam laughed closing the door.

"We should get up" I said pulling away from Rob.

"Come on, it was just getting good" Rob said with a smirk leaning in to kiss me again.

"Not now, Rob" I said a little too harshly, getting up.

"Babe don't do this" Rob said his word cutting.

"I'm not upset, but we aren't going to continue. I'm going down for breakfast" I said getting my cup of coffee off the table.

I headed downstairs, being greeted by my family almost instantly.

"I thought Rob was bringing you coffee in bed?" Nene asked.

"He did" I said motioning at the cup in my hand.

I watched Rob come downstairs, his hand brushed my back as he walked by.

I went to help my Papa in the kitchen.

"We're going out on a date tonight" Rob said gruffly when he walked back in.

"Let's just see how the day plays out, we leave tomorrow" I said smiling at him.

"We're having a family bonfire tonight" Liz said, "I was kinda hoping we could have a sleepover sense I haven't yet this trip."

"Let's see, you have school tomorrow" I said continuing to cut up fruit.

"Rob kinda took your spot in bed" Max said.

"He can be kicked to the couch for a night" I said jokingly looking at him with a wink.

"I'm going outside with Pat, I want two hours of your time today. Not because I don't love your family, they're great. But I want two hours alone with you, figure out when it can be worked into your schedule" he kissed my forehead before walking out.

"Someone's putting their foot down" Liz said under her breath.

"He just knows I'm working a lot this coming week and he has a buddy coming in to hang out" I said, "this is kinda like a vacation for us."

"Well we're having a family work meeting after breakfast" Sam said eating a piece of bacon.

"I know, I'm just trying to figure out how to handle everything" I said. "And having Rob around during our work meetings never goes well."

"Well, then kick him out" Sam said.

"You know it's not that easy, he is my fiancé."

Sitting around the family room after breakfast, Sam, Tami, Mom, Rob and I "So, what's our plan coming up" Sam said, "any time you want to schedule off needs to be talked about now."

"I'm thinking we will get married next May or June" I said, "so ideally pretty much until we have to move to Boston, after we get married I just want to be in Nashville and the lake."
