Date Night In

I ended up coming in a day early, on Friday because I'm just ready to spend time with Rob.

When I got into the house and put my bag in his room, I was surprised at how clean the whole place is but also how big and empty it feels. I smiled at Roxy checking everything out. I sure am glad I brought her because I'm going to be spending a lot of time alone.

I set to cooking dinner, because honestly I'm not sure what else to do? When the door opened I got excited. The footstep walked into the kitchen and Rob wrapped me in a hug. "God I'm so glad to see you" he said, we walked over sitting down on the couch.

"How was practice?"

"It was good, I was thinking maybe I can take you out tonight?" Rob asked.

"Rob, I already made dinner, but I guess you can eat it another night. If that's what you want?" I said I really just want to relax, I've been on the go constantly. I'm tired.

"No, if you made dinner well stay in" Rob said taking my feet into his lap and massaging them.

"That feels fantastic" I said closing my eyes.

"I thought your work was supposed to be slowing down" Rob said

"Just because the tour is over doesn't mean I'm not working" I said I moved onto Rob so I'm straddling his waist and I felt his face cringe as I adjusted myself. "Babe, is something wrong?" I asked concerned.

"No, I'm just soar" he said, "you're fine."

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to cuddle" I said moving off of him. "I should really check dinner anyways."

"Babe, I didn't mean that you needed to move" Rob said following me into the kitchen.

I opened the oven, checking on the chicken.

"Babe, come on let's snuggle" Rob said wrapping his arms around me from behind.

"I don't want to hurt you" I said resting my hand on his arm.

"Now, you're being ridiculous" he said, "come on, let's go lay down on the couch." He kissed my neck, "I have every intention of loving you every second I can till you have to leave," he placed an almost too firm hand on my boobs.

"Come on let's go cuddle" Rob said "I know you're tired, I am too."

"I'm so tired" I said when we sat down on the couch. Resting my head on his chest, "I'm going to have to start bringing friends with me when I come to your games, because tomorrow night it's just going to be me in this house."

"You should next time, no reason not to" Rob said running a hand through my hair.

"It's going to be weird staying in your house by myself tomorrow night" I said

"Just don't view it as my house, view it as our house" Rob said.

"Rob it's not our house" I said with a small laugh. I looked up at him, "I'm so happy to be here with you" I kissed him and I'm relaxed.

"I'm just glad you came in early enough to spend an evening with me before the game" Rob said holding me tight.

The timer went off, "well, I guess dinner is ready." I said getting up. "Can you get water glasses while I make our plates?"

"I got wine for you" Rob said pulling out a bottle, "I can't drink but you have worked your ass off."

He kissed me and grabbed my hand attempting to dance around the kitchen, I laughed.

"You make the plates I'll get drinks and silverwear" he said.

"Now, on my bye week" Rob said, "you and I need to take a vacation."
