I got out of bed, pulling my hair up in a messy bun. I sat down on the couch with my coffee and watched the news.

"I have the most pounding headache" Rob said making himself comfortable,

"Did you have fun last night?" I asked leaning over and kissing him

"I did" he said with a laugh, "but I am looking forward to a lazy Saturday in with you."

He kissed me again, and I wanted to pull away, but I let him have this.

We ended up cuddled up on the couch, "I can't remember the last time we got to just cuddle like this on a Saturday morning with no schedule" Rob said

"That's because it isn't really part of our lifestyle" I said giving him my full attention. I know this weekend he's on edge with my family here. I massaged the back of his neck.

"I think we need to make it part of our lifestyle" Rob said, "it feels so nice."

"Rob, please don't make me feel guilty right now" I said, "I'm trying my best here."

"I'm not trying to make you feel guilty, it's just that when we're in Boston I make an effort to carve out time for us" Rob said, "and I kinda expect the same thing when we are here."

"We will figure out a routine, we're just getting used to this" I said.

"I just want you to slow down a little bit" Rob said kissing my neck.

"Rob when I start slowing down it's even harder to speed back up" I said, "and we don't need to slow down yet."

I thought about the idea of us having a toddler running around the house right now. This was something I never even would have thought about before Rob. I had pushed that desire so far away and I needed to push it away again.

I got up moving around the kitchen.

Rob wrapped his arms around me, "babe, just come back and sit down" Rob said. "Enjoy it while your family is still asleep."

He unwrapped his hands and massaged my lower back. I sighed, "any chance you can give me a back massage?"

"Absolutely" he said, following me to our bedroom.

"Just a back massage" I said laying down.

"Got it" Rob said,

"Well you didn't get it last night, when you tried to feel me up" I said

"Caroline, I was drunk" Rob said. "Did I stop after you told me no?"

"Yes" I said

"Exactly" he said running his hands up and down my back.

"Monday night, we have dinner with Luke and Caroline" I said closing my eyes.

"and they have the two kids, Bo and Tate, right?" Rob asked

"Yep"

There was a knock on the door, and Liz walked in. She sat down in the chair, "good morning, what are we doing today?"

Rob got off me and I rolled over, Rob started talking before I could, "I think your brothers are going to be asleep for awhile longer, why don't we let Caroline get done what she needs to do today and play some one on one?"

"Rob, you have one arm?" I said with a laugh.

"Yeah, but I've still got my good arm" Rob said, "don't worry about me, we'll be back in an hour." He pecked me on the lips before getting up, "I'll change and meet you in the kitchen."
