Lucas wasn't always comfortable with expressing his love. He joked around and stuff with you but never really sincerely told you he loved you. Don't be alarmed, it's just cause he finds it hard to tell you. Lucas loves it when you fall asleep around him because that's when he feels the most comfortable to tell you things. He would gently tuck your hair behind your ear while talking to you, even if you weren't awake. Lucas would also tell you things he's never told anyone during those times.

Like Lucas, Mark would be most comfortable around you when you were asleep. It's because sometimes he would be shy about skinship while you're awake just in case he was awkward about it. When you're asleep, he wouldn't be embarrassed to cuddle you since it would give him a chance to initiate skinship without feeling like he could mess up.
