Me and Jungkook | Jeon Jungkook | Part 2

Jungkook looked straight into my eyes. After a while, he sat on his knees in front of me, hugged me tight and said:

I know you're not, baby.

I started to cry. I knew that he would notice. I got too weak, I couldn't hold my emotions anymore.

- I'm sorry... I simply said.

He broke the hug, grabbed my hand and pulled the sleeve up. He looked at my scars. The scars he hated the most. I just looked down at the floor. I felt ashamed. Jungkook lifted my chin up and said:

- Babe, promise me one thing... that you won't do this again. Promise?

- Promise, I answered. He hugged me once again and continued.

- I have something to tell you, he said.

- What is it?

- Tomorrow I have a very important meeting at work, so I can't stay at home. I will come home in the afternoon. But then, we can do whatever you want.

- But-

- I'm sorry, I couldn't do anything about it. But we have Sunday to hang out.

- Ok, I guess...

- It's getting late, we should go to sleep.

He reached out his hand to help me get up from the couch. I was in shock and I was sad. I thought that we would celebrate my birthday, but it seemed like he even forgot that it was my birthday tomorrow. But I went to bed and tried to fall asleep. I was pretty exhausted.

Jungkook P.O.V

I woke up really early and checked if Joanna was sleeping. She was. Quietly, I walked out of our bedroom, put on some clothes, and drove to the closest grocery store. What Joanna doesn't know, is that I made up the whole meeting-thing. And I pretended like I forgot her birthday. But I remembered it and planned this since weeks.

When I came home, I walked into our bedroom and walked towards our bed, where Joanna was sleeping peacefully. I looked at her adorable face, but I noticed something. She cried last night when I was asleep. I felt so bad, but I had to continue with my plan. I carefully lifted her up, trying not to wake her. I walked with her to the living room, and laid her on the sofa, covering her with a blanket. Then I took the grocery store bags from the kitchen counter and went to our bedroom. I started decorating it with balloons, confetti, and other stuff. Then I laid a trail of rose petals that started in the living room and went through the whole house, to the bedroom. Everything was perfect. For my perfect girlfriend.
