Thank you everyone for 1k Votes! I'm sorry this wasn't better, I have writer's block. I am also hurt (ankle is sprained and I can't do athletics, making me feel mega pathetic) and very lonely

STORYTIME!

Virgil was always cold. His bones just always felt like a fan at the highest power was literally three centimeters away from them at all times. So if they weren't wearing a swearer and/or a hoodie with pants and maybe sometimes a cool baseball cap or beanie; something is extremely wrong. Virgil pulled his sleeves over his hands, his fingers freezing cold, while sitting in the living room with Patton. Roman was with Deceit in the Imagination playing their routine game of pretend while Logan was off somewhere. Virgil doesn't give a damn on where Remus is.

Patton came back with two bottles of sparkling water, because Patton is one of those weirdos who LIKE sparkling water, and a bowl of popcorn mixed with yogurt covered pretzels. It may not be the smartest choice, but it's better than wasting two bowls when they can just mix the snacks together! Virgil instantly dived in for some hot popcorn to warm the ice that is his fingers, Patton giggling at his swift behavior, as swift as the coursing river.

"Gee, Virge, whaddya wanna do tonight?"

Even though it took everything in Virgil not to finish the reference, he stole Patton's glasses and pretended to be Logan for a moment so he could make the reference.

"The same thing we do every night, Patty:Try and take over the world!"

Patton giggled, covering his mouth to hide the fact that he snorts when he laughs. Virgil always found it the most adorable shit. Virgil smirked, quite satisfied with himself as he buried himself deeper into the blankets, sliding a bit more towards Patton for warmth. Patton was, like, the warmest person. Virgil tested. The second warmest is Roman, then Thomas, then Remus, then Logan, then Deceit. Don't ask how or when he got that info.

"Hey, Patton? In all seriousness can we just sit here for a while? Maybe watch a movie then play some games or whatever? I literally don't care I just wanna sit here for a while if you don't mind. Is that cool?"

"Of course! Here, let me just-"

Virgil was glad Patton was so cool about it. Patton did the double clap thing, simotaniously turning off two of the lamps in the living room and turning on the television. Roman must've been watching the Tangled Animated Series with Patton and Remus (yes, Remus liked it. He was extremely horny for Flynn Rider). Patton's face flushed and he clapped again, turning the television to get to Disney's Superior version of Robin Hood.

Five minutes into the movie: Virgil was engrossed. He didn't realize that Patton was slowly trying to take his hand into his own. Patton did finally get to it under the blankets and around the hoodie and he nearly audibly gasped when he thought he actually touched a block of ice. Virgil's hands were freezing cold! This was unNACCECEPTABLE!!! Patton wrapped his entire arm around Virgil's shoulders and yoinked him in so he could warm him up.

"Patton!? What the-"

"Virgil you need to tell me when you're cold! I'll happily hug you or whatever you want to warm you up! I could have tempered with the thermostat to accommodate to you!  Cuddles are futile now! You will be warmed up even if it takes the entire movie to do so!"

Virgil bit his bottom lip, looking down and feeling the embarassment burn in his cheeks. Patton as really warm and Virgil instantly became very very happy. He tried to focus on the movie, but he couldn't when the papa bear of the Sanders den was being so loving and affectionate towards him. Virgil didn't need to hug himself under the blankets to be decently lukewarm. He felt all happy and warm like a towel fresh from the dryer.

That's when the thing happened. In the middle of the movie Patton pressed a tender and loving, probably platonic, kiss on Virgil's forehead. Virgil had never felt so loved and so wholesome and so warm. He was literally beaming with the goofiest grin. He felt like such a hyprocrite because he fusses at Thomas whenever he is in public and grins like that because he just 'knows' people will find him weird and unapproachable because of it.

Virgil covered his nose and below on his face with his hands, which were actually sweater paws, trying not to show Patton how much he was blushing. Patton just grinned because he knew he did a good job. Sure, he didn't get to hold Virgil's hand any more, but seeing him so happy was worth it. He just made sure he held Virgil very close to him and kept him warm. He doesn't want Virgil to suffer and be cold.

"Hey Virgil, guess what?"

"Hmm?"

"I love you~"

Patton couldn't help but laugh at Virgil literally hiding himself in both his hood and the blankets. Patton was deifnately doing a good job. Virgil finally emerged from being hidden, the movie being entirely ignored now. Virgil clapped it off after rolling down his sleeves to be normal sleeves. Wear sleevies to escape your feelies. Virgil just glared at Patton, the tsundere clearly showing from him.

"Don't just say that randomly like that! Like, I love you too, but??? Come on I wasn't expecting it that time it's SO not fair!"

Patton just rolled his eyes, giving Virgil a nose Boop before leaning back in the couch and taking his hand again. He likes holding his hand. Virgil's hand was much warmer than it was the first time. Virgil puffed his cheeks out with pride and leaned his head on Patton's shoulder, accepting defeat. The movie was almost over, but that's okay. The ending is amazing and they woudlnt miss it for the world. Just two gays being good, and refusing to let eachother be cold.
