STORYTIME!

Logan watched as the new student walked up to the front of the class with a smug smile and a confident bravado. Sure, his left eye was scarred due to some past trauma but he seemed extremelt happy as himself. He cracked his knuckles gently and elegantly, looking around the class and making eye contact with Logan before begining the introduction of his character to the rest of the class.

"For the record, my name is not Delilah. My name is Klaus. I am, in fact, a boy and extremely proud to be one. It is a pleasure and an honor to be at this school and be aquatinted with you all."

Klaus, not Delilah. Immediately everyone used his correct pronouns and name, however when Logan transferred several days ago nobody batted an eye when he calmly stated his prefered name. He never mentioned his pronouns due to a fear for his parental figures finding out about his secret and everyone assumes feminine pronouns. He despises it so. He envies Klaus so. It was extremely infuriating to watch him suavely take a seat next to Logan and begin working in something or whatever. Logan didn't care to pay attention to that specific detail. He was too caught up in his own thoughts at the time.

Klaus was everything that he wanted to be.

The bell rang for lunch before long, Logan going through the day in his own sort of dazed state of mind. He hardly registered the classwork and the passing through the hallways at all. He just was scribbling down notes in his diary throughout class and hardly participating, nor an ounce of his attention being granted to the teachers. He stood up and grabbed his lunchkit, walking to the cafeteria where he can sit with his friends: the only people who respect his identity. His knuckles went white from clutching his lunckit too tight when he saw Klaus laughing and talking with Virgil and Remus.

"Of course. It was such a delight to go to that casino. It was easy to pass as an adult with my scars. They make me look old. So I went up and placed a bid on the roulette and won three thousand dollars before going to the poker table to rack in another ten grande in all. I left a very rich man. I sinoly adore gambling."

"Wow, you're really cool Klaus! I would have never thought to go into a casino! Well, unless it was for some other kind of fun."

"Wait, you wanted us to call you Deceit didn't you?"

"Yes, I do. The only reason I go by the name Klaus is because it's so far from that yucky deadname that I have grown to despise. Deceit is... fun. It's like venom off the of the tongue and it makes people think of a coy villain. It's snake like. I've alwahs been fascinated with villains in the media and with that name it feels like I can be powerful just like one. Though, I only let friends call me Deceit. You can if you wish, but that means you'll just have to be my friends~"

Logan didn't say a word to interrupt their conversation, letting them finish and not even acknowledge his existence. He sat on the end of their table, knowing that Patton and Roman would squeeze in between somewhere so they can bring the sunshine and their gushy icky romance everywhere. Romance and explicit affection like that wasn't really Logan's thing. Hit it was only a matter of time before it was bound to seat itself in front of him.

"Ah, none of you told me Lucina was a part of this group."

"Lucina? We don't have any girls in our group? Or am I just being crazy again?"
