Lemon Boy [DLAMP] (Modern AU)

If you've known me for a while you know when I have an idea but don't know how to write it I use a sort of 'poetry format ' that's shorter and every 'paragraph' is only one or two lines long. I wanna see if it goes over well and if you Guys, Gals, and NonBinary pals like it....

Im also gonna try something new, since this is a poetry-shot (as I like to call it) and put it into the perspective of a character rather than third person this time. Please give me feedback if you like this way of writing or not. Thanks!

STORYTIME!

There once was a bittersweet man who we all called Lemon Boy

I found him roaming in my garden and talking to the snakes.

It was really weird  it I knew I couldn't judge him a single bit. I have three boyfriends, who am I to judge anyone?!

So I asked, since it's summer, if he wanted some nice cold lemonade.

So Lemon Boy and me, we went inside to get some drinks.

We talked for a while and I learned how he thinks.

It's actually pretty nice being friendly to a slimy boy like him, so I found myself a new friend.

There once was a bittersweet man who we all called Lemon Boy

Virgil started talking about him all the time after meeting him some weird way.

I thought nothing of it until I met him that day.

He was tall, smart, and suave so I offered him some lemonade.

So Lemon Boy and I went inside to obtain refreshments.

I learned he was quite biased, but also quite patient.

It's actually pretty contentful conversing with a slimy boy like him, so I found myself a new friend.

There once was a bittersweet man who we all called Lemon Boy.

Logan and Virgil met this guy and they talk about him so fondly.

If I'm honest I'm kind of jealous already.

But then I met him and I was astonished by how he could look so dang pretty.

So Lemon Boy and me we just kinda talked for a while.

He was heccin cute and I invited him inside for a while.

It's actually pretty easy approaching a slimy boy like him, so I found myself a brand new friend.

All my boyfriends have seen him but I've yet to meet him.

I found him one day in our garden, telling the snakes he loves them.

I asked him for his name, pronouns, and invited him inside for some cookies and lots of 'em.

So Lemon Boy and me we enjoyed a nice jack together.

We opened the windows so we could also enjoy the sunny weather.

It's actually pretty nice spending time with a slimy boy like him, so I think i found myself a brand new friend!

I once used to go by the name to my loves, it was Lemon Boy.

I'm half blind so I always thought that their backyard was mine.

So I'd go in and talk to my precious baby snake boys for hours at a time.

But I'd always be found by one of these kind men and I'd be brought inside.

So these wonderful boys and I wed go inside and get to know eachother.

Virgil would paint my nails, Logan would help me read, Roman would flirt with me, and Patton would make a pie we could all enjoy together.

It's actually pretty easy bein nice to a slimy boy like me, and I found myself some new friends.

But...

What if I ruin it with my feelings?

Falling in love with each and every boy?

Would they ditch me and forbid me from their garden?

Would I never get to see my sneak Boiz?

Oh... no...

But I can't imagine anything going wrong just by saying what is on my mind,

I think it will be fine. I know it will be fine.

 So I take a deep breath and wait outside so I could be let inside...

And I told them all that I wanted in... on their relationship.

Lemon boy and we, we get along together.

And if I like him and we all do, there's no reason not to join Forever.

It's actually really easy falling in love with a slimy boy like him

So we found ourselves a new boyfriend.

So Lemon Boy and we, we start living together

He's lovely, doting, and gentle, wanting to love and be loved forever.

It's actually really nice dating a slimy boy like him.

So we found ourselves a new boyfriend.

Okay so that was basically a drabble. Please tell me if you like this kind of poetry-format. Sorry for not being inspired enough to write an entire oneshot. I just really wanna pay my switch...
