I keep glancing at her while she's reading the lyrics. She looks sad a little. I have to ask. It's killing me.
"Jayden" I said until she cut me off
"I'm leaving to Ohio tonight" she said quickly
"oh" I said softly
"my dad called me this morning and he told me that I have to come to Ohio or the child protective services will get me and take me there" she said while playing with her lip.
"oh" I said
"but you can come with me right?" She asked
"oh" I said. What am i even saying?
"what?" She asked while raising one eyebrow
"sorry I was stuck in my thoughts" I said

"i honestly wish i could go with you babe but I can't anymore I have things to do all this week. I'm sorry😔" I said feeling badly for her. She looked at the ground and licked her lips.
"it's okay" she said softly. I know she's disappointed.
