Nothing Like Us

It's almost time

"What do you mean, she's not available?.." Namjoon asked shocked
"Sir, don't you worry.. we have excellent doctors here who will do the delivery perfectly.." One of the assistant nurses said
"It's not that I don't trust the doctor, but Doctor Merlin is the only one Jimin is comfortable with.. I- I don't want him to be uncomfortable, especially not now.."

"Sir, Dr Merlin is not in Korea right now.. we have no choice. I have to assign another gynecologist.. we can't risk anything.. "
"I- okay.. I. Jimin's health is important.. so I guess do what's best for him.. and you know I mean that. Only the best.."
The assistant nodded and turned to the other assistants who quickly took a wheelchair and followed Namjoon..

"Hyung.." Jimin whispered softly
Hobi rubbed his back softly and had Jimin hugging him
"Everything will be okay.. stay strong.." he said
"I need Jungkook.." Jimin said, tears rolling down his cheeks
"He'll be here Minnie.. okay?.. hyung will be here for you till he's here okay?.."
"Okay.." Jimin said

"Mr Park? ..." a man called and entered Jimin's private room
"Yes.." Hobi said with a little nod
"Oh.. uhmm are you the husband?.."
"No.. I'm his brother. His husband will be here soon.."
"Oh okay.. well Mr Park, I have some news for you.. and your brother outside told me that you will not like it.. but we have no choice.."
"Wh- what's wrong?.. is my baby okay?.." Jimin asked a little frightened
"Yes.. she is okay and almost ready to come.. but uhmm your Dr Merlin, she isn't in Korea right now.."
"What?!.." Jimin asked shocked
"Yes.. so I'm afraid you have to allow another gynecologist to take your case.."
"No, no.. I'll wait for her.. I'm not having a baby without her ... no.." Jimin said shaking his head

The doctor looked at Hobi and back at Jimin..
"Even if we call her asap, she will still be here in atleast 13 hours.. but I'm afraid, you can't wait that long.."
"B-but .. "
"Minnie.. it will be okay. I'm sure all the doctors are amazing... and they'll take good care of everything .."

"Sir, I understand.. I know that you're uncomfortable, but I promise everything will be okay. Just trust me a little.. and let us, me, take your case..."
"Y-you?.."
"Yes. I'm Dr Jung.."
"Huh?.." Hobi looked at the doctor and smiled
Jimin gave them a weak smile, still not letting Hobi's shirt go ..

"I- can I wait till my husband is here?.."
"We do have to wait till your contractions get even more frequent.. I hope he'll be here by then .."
"He better be if he wants to keep his head.." Jimin said almost casually shocking the doctor a bit..

"I- I don't mean like for real.. I won't hurt him.." Jimin said.
"It's okay Mr Park. You don't have to explain.. I know.. I mean from all my experience as a gynecologist. I know how much it must be hurting you.. so the anger is actually totally understandable.."
Jimin nodded with a small smile..

"While we wait a little till the right time. Do you want to have a nurse explain you how the procedure will be?.."
"I- this is my second time having a cesarean delivery.. " Jimin said and sat up when the pain got a bit calmer.. but he still didn't let go of Hobi

"You're not having a cesarean?.." the doctor said and looked at Jimin
"Wha.. how will I?.. how?.." Jimin asked and looked at Hobi

"Everything is okay. So why not have a normal delivery. You will feel more pain but you'll heal faster than with a cesarean delivery

"I'm sorry doctor, a what?.." Namjoon asked while he came in with some papers and handed them to the doctor..
"A normal delivery... "

"Okay, okay.. but. From where?.. I'm a guy?.." Jimin asked and stood up so he could look at the doctors face and make sure he was just pranking him..
The doctor smiled
"I know it sounds weird, I get it.. since you had a cesarean before ,but it is completely possible.. I can have a nurse here who will explain what to do.. if you want it that is.."
