Nothing Like Us

First day

"I'll see you tomorrow.. " Tae said with a small smile "Call us if you need anything, okay?.."

Jungkook nodded and gave Tae a small smile in return.

After Tae left..
Jungkook walked back to his room to find the twins awake.. They weren't crying nor whining for anything..

"Jae-hyun.. Jae-eun, what's wrong?.." Jungkook asked and walked to them..
"Eomma.." Jae-Hyun said, his voice was small. It made Jungkook realize that they never slept without cuddling with Jimin..

"Eomma has to be somewhere.. he will be back, okay?.. appa will be right here.." he said and picked Jae-hyun up, He knew that Jae-hyun was too attached to Jimin.. since he was a baby, he only wanted Jimin.. and so Jungkook understood.. he could feel that they were missing Jimin and it hasn't even a day since he left..

Tae and the hyungs were there with them the whole day but now they weren't and the twins actually started realizing that Jimin wasn't home..

Jungkook placed Jae-hyun back on the bed and gave them their favorite plushie
"I'll go shower quickly and be back.. " Jungkook said and kissed their heads like Jimin always does.

He walked towards Jae-hwa's baby bed and checked her diaper then made sure her hands weren't covered with the blanket and went into the bathroom room..

After almost 10 minutes, he came out.. and went to the twins

When he reached the bed and was looking for something in the nightstand drawer, he saw Jae-hyun and Jae-eun crying.. but they weren't whining like they normally do, they didn't make a sound... there were just tears on their pink tinted cheeks and they were holding hands..
He softly sat down.. he wasn't sure what to say or do.. he was in a way lost. If it was an older person then it would be different..but now he wasn't sure how to comfort the babies..

He did what Jimin usually does and went under the covers and carefully pulled both to his chest and softly rubbed their backs..
"Eomma.." Jae-eun said and sniffed
It was hurting Jungkook in a physical way to see them being sad..
"I miss him too.." he said with a raspy voice..
He felt both snuggle up more to him and grab his shirt like they were comforting him..
"Appa.. sleep.." Jae-eun said and looked up at Jungkook with glossy eyes.

Jungkook smiled and kissed their foreheads.. he thought it would be a bad idea to be weak infront of them.. but it wasn't.. both made him feel better.. it was like they understood how he was feeling even though they were so young.
He hugged them protectively and took a deep breath.. "I hope you're okay,Jimin.." he thought and closed his eyes.

After almost two hours later Jungkook woke up to the cries of his little one, he somehow missed the alarm he set and now he quickly had to get out if bed which woke up the twins.
He panicked at first but when they didn't cry he quickly went to check on Jae-hwa.

"Ahh baby, appa is here.." he said as he took her in his arms. He rocked her in his arm and tried to make her formula with one hand..

After almost knocking off a few small containers Jungkook was done and quickly went to sit on the bed and to feed her... but because he took a lot if time, she became cranky and gave him a lot of trouble before she drank it.

He walked around for almost an hour before she fell asleep again..
Jungkook sighed relieved and put her back in the baby bed as carefully as possible..

He was cleaning the mess he made when he heard Jae-eun "appa.." her voice sounded like she was crying.. it scared Jungkook a bit.
He quickly stopped what he was doing and went to see.

"Yes baby?.. what's wrong?.." Jungkook tried to pick her up but she pushed his hands away
"What's wrong baby?.. tell appa.." Jungkook said and sat down
"Amma.." she said and softly started crying
"Baby, Eomma can't come right now. Tell me what's wrong?.." Jungkook asked and moved closer to her..
