Nothing Like Us

it's going to be okay..

"Appa!... appa! .. appa!.. appa!.." Jungkook could hear small footsteps coming towards him.. the excitement in their voice made his eyes get teary.

Jungkook fell on his knees and hugged his babies tightly.. "I missed you so much!.." he Couldn't contain his tears anymore.. and just let it all out..

After a tour of 4 months they were back home, Jungkook had rushed back to Busan to pick up his babies and his hyungs joined

He kept kissing their faces, in these months he only saw them through video calls.. and now he didn't know if he should smile because he can finally hug them or cry because he missed them so much
"I missed you so much.." he kept whispering and kissing their faces

"Ahh Jungkookie.. you're here.." Jimin's mother greeted and was soon Joined with Jungkook's mother
"Yes.. I couldn't wait to see them so I came as soon as we landed in korea.." Jungkook said and stood up with the twins in his arms
He went to both mothers and hugged them with the two babies in his arms

"Ah good.. and your other members?.. how are they?.." Jimin's mother asked
"They're okay and outside. I left them to unload the car.." Jungkook smiled
"How's my little one?.." he asked
"She's okay.. and with your appa. We were trying to get her to sleep but she doesn't want to sleep today.. I guess she was waiting for her appa.." Jimin's mother said

Jungkook smiled "I'll go see her.." he said and quickly went to see his little one.

"Dad.. " Jungkook called softly and walked in with the twins in his arms

"Ah you're here.. she's tired but won't sleep.." Jimin's father said and brought Jae-hwa to Jungkook.

Jungkook carefully put both babies down and took Jae-hwa in his arms..
The little one immediately reached for his face..

"Appa is home baby.. I'm here now.. " Jungkook whispered and rocked her softly... not long after that she fell asleep... it was as if she was waiting for him to come back..

Jungkook smiled and carefully put her in the baby cradle.

He watched her for a little while and turned to his dad.. a small smile appeared on his lips..

"How are you?.." Jimin's dad asked.. and all Jungkook could do was smile a bit bit bigger and nod
Jimin's father nodded in response, he understood Jungkook's answer.

They left the room soon after.
The twins happily waddling along side of Jungkook.

"Doonie! Doonie! Doonie! Doonie!.. " The little ones ran while calling Namjoon as they tried to quickly get to Namjoon

"Oh I missed you so much!.." Namjoon said and picked them both up.

The twins only giggled and hugged him.

"Tae Tae!.." Jae-eun yelled and started jumping in Joon's arms.. 

"Hi baby.. missed me.." Tae said in a cute voice and took her in his arms..

After some time they all settled down, Jungkook and Jimin's parents gave some alone time and went out so the kids could feel more relaxed..

Jungkook couldn't help the tears from coming out and Tae quickly noticed..

"What's wrong, kookie?.."
"They... did they forget him?.." Jungkook asked and looked up at his hyungs.. "They used to always look for him when we came home, but they didn't today..  I don't want them to forget, Jimin.. " Jungkook wiped away his tears.

He was quiet for some seconds.. but soon smiled when he heard Jae-hwa crying.
"I'll go check on her.." he said and stood up.

"Jungkookie.." Hoseok stood up and softly grabbed Jungkook's hand
