'Where did Riya go?' Aryan thought to himself, but before he could look for Riya further, Ranbir called him again.
"Aryan, can you please come quick? Prachi is bringing to freak out. I think she might be claustrophobic." Ranbir said urgently, worry clear in his voice.
"Okay, I'm on my way." Aryan said and quickly left the house, getting in his car and driving to where Prachi and Ranbir were.
"Ranbir, the watchman isn't here anymore." Aryan said when he reached the office to realize that the watchman wasn't outside anymore, calling out to Ranbir through the locked door.
"Shit! What are we going to do now." Ranbir said beginning to panic because he knew that if Prachi stayed here longer she would have a full-on panic attack.
Inside Prachi who had heard Aryan on the phone did begin to panic.
"What is going to happen now, are we going to be stuck in here forever!" Prachi said, her breathing getting heavier with every word.
"Hey, look at me. That is not going to happen. We will get out of here." Ranbir said invading Prachi's personal space and cupping her face with both hands, so that the only thing Prachi could focus on was him, forgetting about the situation she was in.
After a while of looking deeply at Ranbir and standing so close to him that their noses almost touched, Prachi nodded her head, indicating to Ranbir that she was okay now, even though her breathing was still a little uneven. And just like that the spell was broken and Ranbir quickly moved away from Prachi.
"Ranbir, ask Prachi if she has a hair clip." Aryan said, still on the phone but remaining silent while Ranbir was calming Prachi.
"Yes, I do have a hairclip." Prachi who had heard Aryan on the phone answered.
"Great! Can you please pass me it through the gap in the door? Aryan asked and Prachi did just that. Aryan put his phone on the floor, still on call, and tried to open the door with the hairclip.
"Me and Riya spent a weekend at Akash chaacho's house when we were younger and he taught us how to open a door without a key. I don't know if I still know how to do it, but I will try." Aryan told Ranbir and Prachi, telling them what he planned to do. The door opened with a click and Aryan did a happy fist pump into the air while Ranbir and Prachi breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thank you dude you saved our lives today!" Ranbir said as he hugged Aryan when he got outside.
"Yes, thank you, Aryan!" Prachi said with a bright smile, breathing a sigh of relief at escaping that enclosed space.
"Well, you can always count on me." Aryan said honestly with a soft smile.
"Okay, I have to go home now. My mom must be worried." Prachi said as she glanced at her watch to realize how late it was.
"Come with me, I will drive you home, you won't find a taxi this late at night." Even though Ranbir didn't want to admit it, he had started to care about Prachi and couldn't bear the thought of something happening to her.
Prachi nodded her head yes, both Prachi and Ranbir bid Aryan good night and thanked him again. With that said all of them got in their respective cars and drove away.
When Aryan reached home he remembered how he couldn't find Riya in her room. So he looked all over the Mehra mansion and still couldn't find her anywhere. He even called her but her phone was not reachable. He started to worry, but then realized that Riya had been working on a new project for Mehra industries and that she had probably gone to the office to work on it. Even though Riya didn't want to admit it she was a workaholic. Aryan supposed that was a good thing because it kept Riya's mind occupied, so she didn't have to think about that man. So believing that Riya was just working late, Aryan went to bed to get his much-needed sleep, not knowing how wrong he was about where Riya was at the moment.
