Shahana was still wandering around the Mehra mansion, trying to look for Aryan. She spotted him trying to blend into the crowd at the back of the room.
He had his back to her, so she went to him, passing numerous people, and tapped him on the shoulder.
Uh, you found me, Priyanka- listen I-." Aryan said still with his back turned but turned around mid-sentence to realize that it was Shahana.
"Oh, it's only you." Aryan said breathing a sigh of relief.
"What do you mean it's only me? Were you expecting someone else? Who is this Priyanka?" Shahana said annoyed, and dare I say jealous.
"Uh... She.... Uh." Aryan said not knowing how to explain his situation to Shahana.
"You know what? I don't want to know! Have fun with this Priyanka! I'm leaving!" Shahana said angrily, storming away.
"Wait, Shahana! It's not like that!" Aryan said as he followed Shahana.

As Riya was coming back inside Mehra mansion, she saw Ranbir, his sister, and his parents come out of a car. Ranbir saw her and waved.
"I didn't know that we would get our own welcoming party." Ranbir said teasing teasingly.
"Ha ha very funny." Riya said sarcastically.
"Happy Diwali! Auntie, Uncle, and Mishti." Riya told everyone except for Ranbir. And they all said it back.
"I don't get a Happy Diwali. That's so unfair." Ranbir said dramatically.
"No, jokers who are unfunny don't get a Happy Diwali. Now come with me I need to talk to you about something." Riya said, Ranbir, shrugged and followed after her.
"We'll be back in a bit." Riya told Ranbir's family.
As Riya and Ranbir left, Ranbir's mom smiled knowingly, while Mishti gushed about how cute they were.
What Riya and Ranbir did not know was that they were being followed by a dark figure.

After everyone had cleared out of the driveway, another car stopped outside Mehra mansion. A man stepped out of the car in a business suit and looked towards Mehra mansion.
'Do as many celebrations as you want today, Purab Khanna and Alia Mehra. Because starting tomorrow I will destroy everything and everyone you love.' Thought the man as he entered Mehra mansion.
