Riya was discharged from the hospital the next morning. Even though the doctor gave Riya the go-ahead to go back to school, Abhi made her stay at home for the day for his piece of mind. Currently, Riya was sitting against the headboard of her bed in her bedroom with Aryan sitting next to her, because he had refused to go to college, and had opted to stay with Riya to take care of her. Purab and Alia had gone to work while Abhi was currently attempting to make soup for Riya from scratch. Keyword; attempting.

"That was a good way to get everyone's attention, Ri." Aryan said jokingly trying to lighten the mood.

"Well, you do know me, Ari. I never do anything small, whatever I do has to be big." Riya said playing along with Aryan.

"But seriously, never do that again idiot, you scared everyone, especially Abhi chaacho, you're his life, if something happened to you he wouldn't be able to live with himself." Aryan said seriously.

"Aww, so in other words, you would miss me if something happened to me." Riya said teasing Aryan to make him laugh.

"Of course, I would miss you, idiot." Aryan said leaning towards Riya to hug her.

Both Aryan and Riya remained silent for a while, Riya lost in deep thought.

"Do you think I'm different now than I was a year ago before he came into my life?" Riya asked Aryan out of the blue. Aryan didn't know how to respond at first.

"No Ri you're still the same, maybe a little angrier, a little more stubborn, but you're still the same." Aryan said honestly.

"Really? Because a year ago I wouldn't have humiliated someone like I did Prachi, three years ago I wouldn't have framed someone for stealing, three years ago I wouldn't have tried to run someone over with my car." Riya said in a somber tone.

"Hey, listen to me." Aryan said cupping Riya's face in both hands, making her face him.

"You realized what you were doing was wrong. You tried to humiliate Prachi because she reminded you of him. Prachi came to the college on a scholarship just like he did. Sure that is the only similarity in between them but I understand why you tried to hurt Prachi. Prachi reminded you of him, and he hurt you, so you wanted to hurt Prachi as a way to get back at him. When you didn't succeed in hurting Prachi, and she slapped you. You couldn't handle it and ended up doing something extreme, like framing her for stealing. But you did realize your mistake and did go to apologize to her, but then you lost control of your car and ended up hitting her mom. You didn't do it on purpose, it just happened. I agree that your actions weren't great but you're not entirely at fault here." Aryan reasoned.

"When did you become so wise?" Riya asked jokingly, with tears in her eyes, giving a teary smile.

"Since my big sister decided that she wanted to act like an idiot." Aryan said jokingly, wiping a lone tear from Riya's face.

"Rude." Riya said while hugging him.

Before Aryan could say anything else. Abhi came into the room, holding a bowl of soup. Riya and Aryan broke their hug and Riya quickly wiped any trace of tears off of her face before her dad saw them.

"Chef Dad is here with your soup, Princess. Hurry up and eat it before it gets cold." Abhi said sitting next to Riya on the other side of the bed, feeding her spoonfuls of the soup, the soup wasn't great, it had too much salt in it, and was somehow cold and hot at the same time.

However, Riya did not care for the soup because by now she was used to her dad's "cooking" and also because she was too busy reevaluating her life's choices.

Did you like how I added a twist to Pragya's accident by Riya? Riya was actually coming to apologize to Prachi, but she lost control of her car and ended up hitting Pragya. Prachi thought that Riya did this on purpose to get back at her, and ended up getting Riya arrested, making things worse between them🤔🤔.
