When Alia awoke, she was surprised to find herself on the bed when she had fallen asleep on the couch. She looked around sleepily wondering how she got here. She looked around the room for Purab, only to see him come out of the bathroom, she gave him a knowing smile.

"So your 'punishment' couldn't even last the whole night?" Alia asked gloating at the fact that Purab couldn't bring himself to make her sleep on the couch.

"Oh, hello, I didn't do it for you. I did it for your back. We both know that after having Aryan you have back issues." Purab said making up an excuse because he knew that Alia wouldn't let this go if she knew that he had moved her, just because he wanted her to rest peacefully.

What happened was that Purab had gotten up to use the bathroom at night and saw that Alia was about to fall off the couch, so he had caught her before she fell and moved her to the bed. He had then gone to sleep on the couch himself, he was more used to it than Alia, so he knew he wouldn't fall.

But at this point Purab was beginning to think that falling while sleeping was just a 'Mehra problem' Abhi used to do it, Riya still did it, and Alia would do it sometimes when she was stressed. He thought it probably had to do with the fact that all three of them slept like a starfish on the bed, taking over the bed, sleeping like there was no tomorrow. Sometimes he was glad that he slept on the couch or if Alia and he shared one bed, he wouldn't even have a place to sleep.

"Eww, you make me sound like an old woman with back problems." Alia said throwing a pillow at Purab, which he caught because he saw it coming.

"Okay, I'm sorry. Now get up, don't you want to go to the office today?" Purab asked Alia telling her how late it was.

"Oh shit!" Alia said looking at the clock, scrambling to the bathroom to get ready for work.

As Purab went out of the room to for breakfast and as Alia was freshening up in the bathroom, both of them stopped what they were doing. Both Alia and Purab got a feeling that something was about to change, they just didn't know what. Both Purab and Alia dismissed this feeling and carried on with what they were doing, not knowing what was in store for them.

As Riya was getting ready for college, she spotted Drishti's kurta laying on one of the shelves of her closet,

"Drishti di might have just forgotten it, I could just return it to her later." Riya concluded.

Riya tried calling Drishti to tell her that she would come by later to drop off the kurta but there was no answer. Riya decided that she would try calling Drishti later on. And then headed down for breakfast.

Not knowing what she would see once she reached Drishti's home later this day.

As Aryan got ready for the day, he had a bright smile on his face, thinking about Shahana and looking forward to seeing her at college, wondering if things would be different between them the next time they saw each other.

Aryan began to walk downstairs for breakfast as he was daydreaming about Shahana, only to bump into someone.

"Be careful, Aryan, beta." The person said.

"Oh, Meera auntie, when did you come back?" Aryan asked snapping out of his daydream.

"I just came back, I got presents too. But what I want to know is whose dreams are you lost in?" Meera asked teasing Aryan.

"Uh- only your dreams Meera auntie." Aryan said making up an excuse.

"Oh! You sweet talker. Should we go to breakfast now?" Meera asked Aryan, knowing that he was only trying to butter her up.

"We shall." Aryan said playing along, breathing a sigh of relief because Meera didn't ask him any more questions, and then they were off to eat breakfast.

When Priyanka awoke the first thing she did was grab her phone and dialed someone else's number, smiling happily.

"Did you miss me, my love?" Priyanka asked lovingly, once the person on the other side of the phone picked up.

Everyone was pleasantly surprised when they saw Meera at the dining table.

"Meera auntie when did you come back?" Riya asked curiously.

"I just came back in the early morning, everyone was sleeping so I didn't want to wake you guys. But you know what? I brought Diwali presents since I couldn't be here yesterday." Meera informed happily.

"Oh, nice! I can't wait to see my gift." Riya said hugging Meera.

"Well anyway, I'm happy to see you, Meera. Alia said she too hugging Meera, while Purab nodded his head in acknowledgment, Meera nodded back too.

"Welcome back, Meera." Abhi said, staying in his seat.

"Thank you." Meera said smiling, and if someone were to look closely enough they would see a light blush coloring Meera's cheeks.

"Does anyone know where Priyanka is? She's going to be late for college if she doesn't eat breakfast on time." Abhi said lovingly.

"Uh- Dad I think she's still sleeping, she was pretty tired last night. I'll go wake her up." Riya said getting up to leave.

"Oh, okay. Can you drive to college with her too? Because she just came back and might have forgotten the way after such a long time. I don't want her to get lost." Abhi said like a worried father.

"Of course, I will Papa." Riya said walking off towards Priyanka's room.

"Well, I'm done with my breakfast. I'm going to the office now. Meera, you should come with me too because you know more about the new investor than I do. So we can discuss details about the meeting in the car." Abhi said as he got up to leave.

"Okay." Meera said giving a bright smile and following behind Abhi.

Alia and Purab too got up after finishing their breakfast and headed to work. Aryan was the only one left on the table, having missed everything that was going on because of his daydreams of Shahana. Aryan snapped out of his daydream, realizing he was alone.

"Oh shit! Where did everyone go?" Aryan said to himself, looking around questioningly. Then he looked at the clock on the wall, realizing that he was going to be late he hurried out of the door.
