Everyone was looking at each other, sitting at the dining table of Saritaben's house, telling each other with signs to ask Pragya what was wrong.

Pragya had started cooking breakfast at 4 am and by the time everyone woke up Pragya had successfully made a buffet for breakfast. Now everyone knew that Pragya cooked when she was stressed, and for her to cook this much food she had to be really stressed.

But now Pragya looked happy and relaxed after releasing her stress on the food. Nobody wanted to ask her what had made her upset and spoil her current mood, but they were all curious to know.

This resulted in a staring contest between Saritaben, Prachi, and Rishi with them indirectly telling each other to ask Pragya what had happened. Now Shahana was a different story, she was lost in her own world. Oblivious to everything around her, with a dreamy smile on her face as she thought about Aryan.

The staring contest only broke when Rishi's phone rang, Rishi looked at his phone, shocked by who was calling him.

"I have to take this." Rishi said excusing himself and walking towards his bedroom to talk in private.

******
The first thing Rishi heard when he answered the phone was Priyanka's voice.

"Did you miss me, my love?" Rishi heard Priyanka say.

"Why are you calling me, Priyanka? I told you that we were over." Rishi told Priyanka, annoyed, but with a small smile for some reason.

"Oh come on, I didn't think you were serious. Okay even if you were, can we please meet one last time, for old times' sake?" Priyanka said hoping that Rishi would say yes so that she would have another chance with him.

"Okay, fine." Rishi said after a long silence, even though Rishi didn't want to admit it, he had missed Priyanka.

"When do you want to meet?" Rishi asked curiously.

"Uh- after college, at like 3 pm, outside your house." Priyanka said happily, now that Rishi had agreed.

"Okay, I'll wait for you. Bye." Rishi said cutting the call, letting out a sigh, wondering what was going to happen when Priyanka and he met again.

On the other hand, Priyanka couldn't even be mad at Rishi for ending the call so abruptly because she was too happy at the thought of meeting Rishi again.

Back to the dining table, even now no one could build up the courage to ask Pragya what was wrong, and they had no more time left because Pragya was done with her breakfast.

"Okay, I'm done with my breakfast. I'm going to go now to prepare for my class. Prachi and Shahana both of you finish your food and be out of the house in 10 minutes or you're going to be late for college." Pragya said getting up to leave.

"Mumma." Prachi said stopping Pragya from leaving, finally building up the courage to ask her mom what was wrong.

"I love you, bye, have a good day." Prachi said chickening out when she saw her mom's bright smile, not wanting to spoil her mood.

"I love you too." Pragya said smiling and then left.

******
Only when Pragya was out of the house did she let her smile dim a little. Even though she was feeling better, she wasn't quite okay. She didn't want to worry anyone so she had put on the brightest smile she could manage.

But it seemed that her family knew more about her than she gave them credit for. She had seen them fidgeting around, asking each other to ask her what was wrong.

Pragya thought that it would be best if she didn't acknowledge what they were doing. Because if she had, she would have had to answer their questions. Questions which she didn't even have the answers for as of yet.

So with such thoughts running around in her mind, Pragya reached the college and started to prepare for her class, not knowing what the future would bring.

******
Once Pragya left, Prachi slapped a hand against her forehead in defeat. Not knowing what had happened would bother her for the whole day.
She talked about her frustration to Saritaben and Shahana.

"What do you think might have happened? I want to know so badly, but I can't ask." Prachi said in a whiney voice.

"Just be patient. If your mom wants to tell you what happened, she will." Saritaben said being the voice of reason.

"I know. But waiting is so hard, right Shahana?" Prachi said looking to Shahana to back her up. But Shahana gave her no response, lost in her own world.

"Oh, hello Shahana, where are you lost?" Prachi said snapping her fingers to break Shahana out of her daydream.

"Huh? What did you say?" Shahana said snapping out of her thoughts about Aryan, a light blush coloring her cheeks.

"I asked where are you lost? Were you even listening?"  Prachi asked curiously.

"Uh- of course I was. I'm just going over exam questions for 3rd period in my head." Shahana said making up an excuse. Prachi raised an eyebrow at that knowing that something was off.

"Oh look at the time, we're going to be late." Shahana said pointing towards the clock on the wall to avoid any more questions.

And with that Prachi and Shahana were both off to college after saying goodbye to Saritaben.

No matter how hard Drishti tried, her phone wouldn't turn on. It was expected though because that phone was very old and had suffered through many dangerous falls.

Drishti decided that today she had to get a job because she couldn't live with a broken phone anymore. So with that in mind Drishti left her home determined to get a job.

Not knowing that fate had decided to give her such a job that would forever change the course of her life.
