Part 124- To Mumbai

"-And so yeah you just rest today, I'm working from home, if you need anything just tell me, don't get up yourself." Abhi instructed as he led Priyanka down the stairs and sat her down at the dining table for breakfast the next morning, both Aryan and Riya who were already sitting at the dining table gave her amused smiles while she just made a face at them.

"And here I made your favorite 'aloo paratha' hurry up and eat it." Meera said as she sat next to Priyanka at the dining table, hand-feeding her the paratha, not even letting her say anything.

'Great I think I have PTSD from yesterday.' Aryan thought to himself dramatically, making a face as he was reminded of how Shahana had fed Priyanka.

"Barun put these bags in the car." Alia said as she came downstairs carrying some suitcases, handing them to a servant.

"I told you to pack lightly, didn't I?" Purab asked in a whiney voice, slightly out of breath, as he too came downstairs, all but throwing the numerous bags that he had been holding to the floor because they were too heavy.

"Oh hello, I did pack lightly, these bags are all yours, because you couldn't decide whether you wanted a blue or red color scheme in your clothes, so you decided to go with both and packed double of everything." Alia said in her defense as she gestured towards the bags on the floor, to which Purab smiled sheepishly knowing that she was right.

"Okay, guys stop arguing about who packed more and come have breakfast." Abhi said rolling his eyes fondly as they did just that.

"How are you now, Priyanka?" Purab asked worriedly once he was seated at the dining table.

"Absolutely great." Priyanka said around a mouth full of food that Meera just kept feeding her.

"And did you rebandage your hands this morning like the doctor instructed?" Alia asked worriedly.

"Yeah Chucks did." Priyanka informed, her voice muffled by the food in her mouth, rolling her eyes fondly as she thought back to how she had woken up to Abhi rebandaging her hands.

"Meera auntie, no more, I'm full." Priyanka said in a whiney voice, after a short while turning her head so that Meera couldn't feed her anymore.

"Eat." Meera just said giving Priyanka the look so that Priyanka had no other choice but to reluctantly do as she was told, all of them eating in silence for a while...

"Okay, I think we should go now." Purab said as he stood up after being done with his breakfast.

"Yeah okay." Alia said as she too stood up after being done with breakfast.

"Both of you have a safe trip, take care of yourselves." Abhi said lovingly hugging both of them in a three-way hug.

"Call us when you get there." Meera said as she got up to hug Alia, nodding at Purab while he nodded back, making Priyanka breathe a sigh of relief because for the time being the food assault was over.

"And bring presents too." Priyanka said jokingly.

"We will." Alia said with a chuckle.

"Look at him, he doesn't even realize that we're leaving, so very lost in his dreamland." Purab whispered to Alia with a chuckle as he watched Aryan who seemed lost in thought.

"I don't even think that he knows about this trip, that's how lost he is." Alia whispered back with a chuckle too.

"Ah but I am going to miss teasing him, let me go tease him one more time before we go." Purab whispered jokingly as he took a step forward to break Aryan out of his thoughts and tease him some more.
