"Are you done?" Rakshit asked annoyed as Drishti had been laughing for a good minute now, so much so that she was holding her stomach because her ribs hurt from laughing so much, as Rakshit just stood there wiping some mud off of his face with his handkerchief.

"Ye... yes... I mean... no... yes." Drishti said barely able to get the words out because she kept on pausing to laugh.

"Ms. Sood I'm still your boss, watch yourself." Rakshit said trying to be stern but it just came across as annoyed.

"Wat... watch yourself.... that's what you should've been doing... when the car...." Drishti said laughing harder, if that was even possible, as she gestured to how the car had splashed the muddy puddle onto Rakshit.

"That's what I thought." Rakshit said smugly as Drishti instantly stopped laughing when he glared daggers at her.

"Now I'm going to go, and you can never ever speak a word about what happened here today to anyone." Rakshit said in a no-nonsense tone. But when Drishti just did a 'locking her lips and throwing away the key' gesture looking like she was going to burst out laughing any second now, Rakshit rolled his eyes in annoyance and was about to turn around to leave.

"Wait Rakshit." Drishti said before he could fully turn around, confusing him as she pointed at something on his face.

"Uh- there- no there." Drishti said as Rakshit tried to wipe whatever was on his face with his handkerchief, missing the spot every time.

"Give me." Drishti said as she extended a hand, asking for his handkerchief, having enough of waiting.

And as Rakshit hesitantly handed her the handkerchief, their fingers brushed against one another as he did so. Drishti then took the tiniest step toward him, reaching up to gently wipe away a glob of mud that was slowly dripping down his nose, both of them becoming lost in each other's eyes as she did so.

"Arpita ma'am's suspicion of you playing in muddy puddles became true after all." Drishti thought out loud as she broke out of her trance, still cleaning the mud from Rakshit's face. Going wide-eyed and slowly pulled her hand away from his face, lightly clutching the handkerchief in her hand when she realized what she had said.

While Rakshit just looked at her with a blank expression, until his upper lip twitched a little, and twitched again, finally letting out a short chuckle, and then laughing out loud, a bright smile on his face. Causing Drishti to burst out laughing too as a chain reaction.

"Ms. Sood control yourself." Rakshit said trying to be stern to get Drishti to stop laughing, but it didn't work because he was laughing too.

"Ye- yes sir." Drishti said with a chuckle as she finally got control over her laughter, as both of them stopped laughing but with amused smiles still on their faces.

"And not a word of this to anyone." Rakshit said as he went towards his car, trying to go back to his usual stoic facial expression to seem more serious, not being able to for some reason as a soft smile still remained.

"No, of course not." Drishti said shaking her head with an amused smile.

"Rakshit wait." Drishti said stopping Rakshit once more just as he was about to sit in his car.

"What happened now? If it's about mud being on me. I know, I can see it." Rakshit said sarcastically, gesturing to his wet and muddy shirt.

"Yeah it is about that... how about you just come inside... and I'll put your shirt in the washing machine... because the mud is going to get everywhere in the car." Drishti explained awkwardly.

"Uh- okay thanks." Rakshit said with a smiling genuine smile after a long time, as he shut the car door that he was holding open, beginning to follow behind Drishti towards her house.
