Part 80- Bonding Moments And Truths

When Shahana, Prachi, and Riya walked inside the Mehra mansion, they saw Aryan, Purab, Alia, and Ranbir sitting at the dining table.

"If Vikram calls and asks where you are, I will tell him, and then whatever happens after that will not be my fault." Purab said sternly.

"What Uncle? You too? I came here to get away from my Dad, not meet a Dad 2.0." Ranbir said in a whiney voice.

"Hey Dad 2.0 is my thing, don't steal it, it's only copyrighted to me." Riya said jokingly, coming to sit at the dining table.

"All he knows is how to steal." Prachi said jokingly, as she sat next to Riya. Shahana too sat down but did not say anything, because she and Aryan were caught in an eye lock, and lost each other's eyes.

"Oh hello, when have I ever stolen something from you?" Ranbir asked in his defense.

"Have you guys eaten breakfast yet?" Alia asked cutting Ranbir off before a word fight could start.

"Yes Auntie, we already ate breakfast." Prachi said smiling.

"Oh okay, well you kids have fun, and if you need anything we'll be in our studies." Alia said kindly.

"Yeah and don't wreck the house this time please?" Purab asked jokingly, making Alia chuckle.

"Hey!" Both Aryan and Riya said at the same time, Aryan finally breaking out of his trance.

"It was only that one time." Aryan said in a whiney voice.

"Why can't just let it go?" Riya asked in a whiney voice too.

"What did you guys do?" Shahana asked amused, everyone else just as curious to know.

"Oh, I'll tell you what they did." Alia said with a chuckle.

"Their first year of college they threw this big party when all of us weren't home. And it quickly got out of hand, really badly." Alia said laughing at the memory now.

"We returned and the house was a mess. The kids from college had even reached the upstairs rooms breaking several vases. And I think one kid even set the kitchen on fire." Purab said with a chuckle, now that memory was funny, but at the time all of them had been super angry.

"Both of them were grounded for three months after that whole fiasco." Alia said with a chuckle, causing both Aryan and Riya to make faces.

"Oh my God, that's horrible." Shahana said unbelievably amused.

"Hey in our defense we only invited a few people, but then word got around, and those people started to invite friends of friends of friends. We didn't know that the whole college would come, we just wanted to get to know a few people at a new school." Aryan said trying to explain himself, with Riya nodding in agreement.

"Ohh it was that party, people still talk about that you know." Ranbir said in understanding, with a chuckle.

"See in the end it all worked out, the reason for the party was to get to know people, and after that party, everyone knew us." Riya said proudly.

"Oh yeah sure." Prachi said sarcastically making everyone laugh at Aryan and Riya's expense.

"What kind of person likes cold black coffee with no sugar?" Drishti asked herself making a face as she stirred a cup of coffee in the break room.

"It literally has no taste, so why even drink it?" Drishti asked shaking her head.

"Maybe it does have a taste, maybe that's why Rakshit sir can talk as fast as a bullet train." Drishti said jokingly.
