Come on everyone hurry up and eat breakfast, it's raining outside so we have to leave earlier if we want to be on time! Pari did call a taxi or not?" Pragya asked as she was setting up the dining table.

"No Mumma, because of the rain phone signals are weak, no call is going through." Prachi said as she rushed out of her room.

"Even if a call does go through, I don't think that a taxi will be able to get here on time, especially with all that traffic." Shahana said as she sat at the dining table.

"I would've told Rishi to take you to college, but that boy left for work even before I woke up." Saritaji said shaking her head.

"Oh let him be, it's a good thing that he's so passionate about his work." Pragya said with a soft smile, coming to Rishi's aid. All of them ate breakfast as they conversed.

"Oh look who finally woke up I thought I was going to have to call a marching band to play drums to wake you up." Abhi said jokingly as Riya came down the stairs, causing her to make a face.

"I wasn't even that deeply asleep." Riya said in her defense as she sat down at the dining table. Confused about how she had knocked out so easily last night.

"Oh yes you were, last night I put you to bed you didn't even wake up for a second, and this morning when I got up, I spent 10 minutes trying to wake you up, and you still did not wake up." Abhi said unbelievably amused.

"You must be exaggerating, because then, why would I be so tired still?" Riya asked, yawning at the same time.

"Wow, you're still tired? I really don't know how that is possible." Abhi said with a chuckle making Riya pout cutely, as she began to eat her breakfast.

"Aryan." Purab said abruptly.

"Yes, Dad?" Aryan asked breaking out of his daydreams, unknowingly letting go of the spoon that he was holding, watching it clatter to the floor with an 'oh shit' expression on his face. While Alia and Purab both tried to keep from laughing.

"Eat your food it's getting cold." Purab just said with a smile.

"Not with the floor spoon, Aryan." Alia said trying to keep from laughing as Aryan bend down to pick up the spoon from the floor, about to eat with it, not even noticing what he was doing, too busy being lost in Shahana's thoughts.

"Uh- ye- yes." Aryan said fumbling, mentally facepalming himself.

"Here take a new spoon." Alia said handing Aryan a clean spoon.

"Thank you." Aryan said taking the spoon with an embarrassed smile, obediently eating his breakfast and looking down at his plate, while Purab and Alia smiled at each other.

Priyanka was all but playing with her food, pushing it around on the plate with a spoon, not having the appetite to eat after last night. Broke out of her thoughts to shake her head at Aryan, Purab, and Alia's interaction with a small smile because she knew that they knew. While both Abhi and Meera looked so very confused, and Riya raised an eyebrow beginning to understand what was going on.

Ranbir semi-choked on his drink as he saw Prachi sitting in front of him on the dining table, only for her to disappear seconds later.

"Bhai are you okay?" Mishti asked confused.

"Yes uh- there." Ranbir said pointing to an empty seat at the dining table.

"There what?" Vikram asked curiously.

"N- nothing I'm going to go to college now." Ranbir said shaking his head to get himself together, standing up to leave.

"At least finish your breakfast first." Pallavi said after Ranbir.
