"What I don't understand is how the hell did this happen?!" Riya yelled angrily as she was pacing around in her cabin at the office, a girl standing in front of her desk with her head down.
"Uh.. someone told us that.. you wanted all costumes for the event... to be red." The girl said in a mere whisper, trying to defend herself.
"Who said?! Did I?! If I didn't say it, then who said it?!" Riya yelled angrily.
"What the hell am I supposed to do with red costumes?! When the theme of the talent show is sky blue?! Do we live on Mars?! Where the bloody goddamn sky is red?! Look outside! Look outside Neha and tell me what color the sky is??!!" Riya yelled angrily, pointing at a window in her cabin, waiting for Neha to respond.
"Uh, it's grey right now, because of the rain." Neha said honestly, not realizing how she messed up. While Riya glared at her, red in the face, looking ready to break something, most likely poor Neha.
"But most of the time it's blue." Neha said quickly when she realized her mistake.
"Yeah, yeah, it's blue, so why the hell are the costumes red?!! You want to know what the tagline of this fuc-!!!" Riya began to yell angrily.
"Oye don't you dare finish that." Meera said sternly as she quickly walked inside Riya's cabin, cutting off her angry yelling.
"Now calm down." Meera said gently as she stood in front of Riya to stop her from pacing around, taking both of Riya's hands in her own. Then Meera looked towards Neha to silently tell her to leave, which she did.
"I am calm!" Riya yelled angrily, making a face when she realized Meera's point.
"I think you and me have different meanings of calm." Meera said teasingly.
"I feel like breaking something." Riya whispered angrily, sharply inhaling to keep from yelling again.
The cabin was silent after that, and the people outside in the bullpen breathed a sigh of relief, but then made fearful faces when a loud sound of glass breaking came from inside the cabin.
"That didn't even feel good!! Now I have an unneeded collection of red costumes and on top of that, a broken glass!!!" Riya yelled angrily red in the face as she looked at the broken glass cup that lay a few feet away from her on the floor. Having thrown it like a ball, when Meera silently handed it to her, in hopes of maybe that breaking something would calm her down.
"Okay, okay, sit, calm down, I'll get Mr. Mehra, drink some water, and breathe." Meera said gently as she all but forced Riya to sit on the chair behind her desk, cupping Riya's cheek, and handing Riya a glass of water, as she rushed out of the cabin to go get Abhi who was currently in a meeting with Alia and Purab, and some old clients.
As soon as Meera left Riya angrily slammed the cup of water on her desk, making some water splash out of it, beginning to pace again.
"What do you want?!!" Riya yelled angrily, as her phone rang, taking it out of her pocket to pick it up, without looking at the caller ID.
"Oh someone's an angry bird right now." Pragya said teasingly, raising an eyebrow at how angry Riya sounded.
"What happened?" Pragya asked curiously.
"Hello, Riya are you still there? What happened, did you find out who messed up?" Pragya asked confused when she got no response since Riya was just glaring at a white wall in her office not saying anything.
"Some idiot messed up! Because apparently, they live on Mars! Where the bloody sky is red!! Do I work with aliens from another planet?!!" Riya yelled in all seriousness as she angrily paced around in her cabin.
