Part 85- Realizations

Shahana ran after Aryan in one direction, and Prachi ran after Ranbir and Riya in another direction.

"Come out, come out wherever you are." Prachi whispered teasingly while holding a mountain of pillows in her hands, trying to find Ranbir and Riya.

"You know how creepy that sounds right?" Riya asked jokingly from her hiding spot.

"Yeah she's right, that sounds so creepy, are we in a horror movie or something?" Ranbir asked jokingly from his hiding spot, his voice coming from the opposite direction of Riya's.

"If you come out now I will go easy on both of you." Prachi said on high alert, looking around, a pillow in each of her hands, ready to fire at anything that moved.

"Liar." Ranbir said knowing exactly what Prachi was up to.

"Yeah Pikachu, lying is bad, you shouldn't lie." Riya said jokingly.

"Oh look at who's talking, you literally lie all the time, or have you forgotten about your alien abduction lie to Mumma yesterday?" Prachi asked sarcastically.

"Hey you never know, it can actually happen one of these days." Riya said jokingly in her defense.

"See now I feel like I'm missing something here again." Ranbir said jokingly, genuinely confused.

"Oh, nothing much, just Riu's obsession with Aliens." Prachi said jokingly.

"Hey it's a valid obsession, because one time when I was little I woke up and saw a tiny blue-like person hovering over me, and I could swear that it was an alien!" Riya yelled in her defense.

"What?" Ranbir asked with a chuckle.

"And where did that 'tiny blue-like person' go then?" Prachi asked teasingly.

"It went away when I sat up on the bed, probably because it didn't want me to see it." Riya reasoned.

"Or it was just a dream." Prachi reasoned.

"It was real and no one can convince me otherwise!" Riya yelled determinedly making both Prachi and Ranbir chuckle.

Then everyone remained silent remembering that they were fighting a pillow war, on high alert. Then suddenly Prachi started to walk backward, pillows still in her hands, ready to fire, somehow having figured out where Ranbir and Riya were hiding, and somehow hitting them both with a pillow at the same time, even though they were in opposite directions.

"Hah. I got you. I win!" Prachi yelled with a chuckle doing a victory fist pump into the air, that Ranbir and Riya had no other choice but to come out from their hiding places.

"What how is that even possible?" Ranbir asked in a whiney voice with a cute pout.

"Ninja skills." Prachi said in all seriousness.

"Well, Pikachu catch this with your ninja skills if you can." Riya said abruptly throwing a pillow at Prachi's face and running away again.

"And I'll also take this thank you very much." Ranbir said jokingly following Riya's lead and stealing a pillow right out from Prachi's hand and running away too.

'Eeeeeeeeeee!!' Riya yelled happily in her mind for some reason as she stopped running after realizing that Prachi wasn't chasing after her anymore.

The sight that had made Riya yell like that was of Ranbir and Prachi, where Ranbir was holding Prachi, his arms around Prachi's waist to keep her from falling, seemingly lost in each other's eyes.

'Oh my God, Ranbir likes Pikachu.' Riya thought to herself shocked having the biggest realization, her mind flashing back to events throughout the day. How Ranbir had asked Prachi about her celebrity crush. How Ranbir had asked Prachi about what kind of life partner she wanted. How Ranbir had literally asked Prachi to marry him.
