"What's happening here?" Arpita asked amused as she entered Rakshit's cabin.

"What do mean? We're just working, that's all." Rakshit said confused.

"But when did Drishti become the boss and you the employee?" Arpita asked with a chuckle because Drishti was sitting on the chair behind the desk, while Rakshit was sitting on one of the chairs in front of the desk.

"Oh I-." Drishti began to say with a smile, realizing what Arpita meant, quickly standing up from the chair.

"I'm going to go.. uh.. this file." Drishti said quickly, making up a weak excuse, as she picked up a random file from the desk, and rushed out of the room with a light blush coloring her cheeks as she thought about how she had ended up on Rakshit's chair.

"What's going on?" Arpita asked amused, raising an eyebrow as she watched Drishti all but run out of the cabin.

"What do you mean? Nothing is going on. Why did you come here? Do you have something to say?" Rakshit asked to change the topic, while Arpita looked at him with a confused smile, trying to read him.

"Oh yes, I came to talk to you about the Mumbai trip tomorrow. I can't go with you." Arpita informed with a sigh.

"No, you have to. How will I deal with Purab Khanna and Alia Mehra without you?" Rakshit asked, his forehead creasing in tension.

"I know you can. After all your my Rakshit, who is strong no matter what." Arpita said lovingly, as she cupped his cheek.

"Plus you won't be alone, he is also going to be there." Arpita said in a more somber tone, as she turned away from Rakshit, a faraway look in her eyes.

"Maasi, you know that-" Rakshit began to say with a sigh, trying to convince Arpita of something...

On the other hand, Drishti was walking back to her own cubicle in the bullpen, with a soft smile on her face as she thought about what had happened between her and Rakshit.

'No matter how cold he acts on the outside, he has a soft heart.' Drishti thought to herself with a soft smile ever present on her face.

"Idiot, you took the file that you were supposed to give to Rakshit." Drishti whispered to herself as she sat down on her own desk, smacking her forehead when she realized which file she was holding, instantly getting up to walk back to Rakshit's cabin...

"And then the Mehra's destruction will be set in stone and no one will be able to save them." Drishti heard Rakshit say with determination when she opened his cabin's door, her forehead creasing in confusion.

"Rakshit sir, I took the file-." Drishti began to say as she was holding the cabin's door open.

"What are you doing here? How much did you hear?" Rakshit asked angrily as he roughly pulled Drishti inside his cabin by grabbing her wrist, making her collide into his chest by the force of the pull, standing inches apart as he glared daggers at Drishti.

"Rakshit sir you're hurting me." Drishti winced out as Rakshit unknowingly squeezed her wrist tighter in anger, but Rakshit didn't seem to hear her too lost in anger.

"Rakshit let go of her." Arpita said intervening between them, laying a hand on his shoulder to calm him down, and as soon as he came back to his senses he let go of Drishti's wrist with a regretful face and turned away from her.

"Give me the file. You can go now." Arpita said to Drishti, to which Drishti nodded and did just that, glancing at Rakshit who was now pacing around angrily, in confusion and slight hurt, wondering what had made Rakshit act like that, as she hesitantly left the cabin.
