"We still have to finish the project." Ranbir said in an annoyed voice as he stood in the parking lot of the college, causing Prachi to halt mid-step, the school had ended minutes ago and their fight was still intense.
Prachi made a face as she looked at Ranbir, deliberating for a bit, and then becoming annoyed when she realized that she couldn't avoid Ranbir, since the project was due tomorrow and they still had a lot to do.
"Okay, we go to my house, just don't lose the car keys again." Prachi reluctantly said as she sat inside his car while Ranbir made an annoyed face at her.
"Hey-!" Ranbir began to say in his defense.
'What are you doing, idiot? You're supposed to be confessing your love to her. But you're over here fighting with her.' One side of Ranbir's mind interrupted.
'She's the one who started it first.' Another side of Ranbir's mind retaliated.
'But what's more important, your ego or your love?' One side of Ranbir's mind asked rhetorically.
"What did you forget how to drive too, now?" Prachi's sarcastic voice brought him back to reality.
"Prachi-." Ranbir began to say with a sigh, realizing that their entire fight was super childish, and at this point, he couldn't even remember what they had been fighting about.
And as he began driving, he was unable to say anything else because Prachi had turned on the radio, to avoid talking to him.
"I was listening to that." Prachi said annoyed when Ranbir turned off the radio.
"And I was trying to talk to you." Ranbir said just as annoyed when he once again turned off the radio as Prachi turned it on again.
"Stop that." Ranbir said annoyed as he turned off the radio once more.
"No, you stop that." Prachi said just as annoyed as she turned on the radio once again, both of them doing this back and forth during the whole car ride and abusing the poor radio button that had somehow become another reason for fighting...
"You are so infuriating!" Prachi yelled annoyed as she got out of the car slamming the door shut when Ranbir parked in front of her house.
"Then what are you, you're worse than me!" Ranbir yelled just as annoyed as he got out of the car too slamming it shut.
"Oh hello, at least I don't forget my car keys in the car." Prachi retaliated, smirking knowingly when Ranbir paused a little before locking his car, making sure that he had the car keys on him.
"You don't even have a car to have car keys." Ranbir retaliated with a smirk of his own.
"Well if I did I won't lose them as you did." Prachi said matter of factly as she walked towards her house, Ranbir making a face as he followed behind her, she opened the door, both of them trying to enter the narrow space at the same time, and failing to do so, until both of them stumbled over the threshold on unsteady feet holding on to each other's shoulders for support, becoming lost in each other's eyes, but then someone clearing their throat broke them out of their trance.
"What's happening here?" Pragya asked with a teasing smile as she came out of her room having freshened up after coming back from work.
"Nothing." Prachi said as she moved away from Ranbir, both of them making a face at each other when they remembered that they were supposed to be fighting.
"Yeah nothing, we're just working on the project." Ranbir added. And after a short staring contest between them, Ranbir said he had to go to the bathroom while Prachi went to her bedroom to freshen up.
