Rakshit headed towards the temple, going inside it after taking his shoes off, he went in front of the Shiv statue, joining his hands together to pray, and closing his eyes.

'Mumma I hope wherever you are, you are happy.' Rakshit thought to himself.

'But I know that you can't be in peace until I make the people responsible for your death, suffer.' Rakshit thought to himself as tears fell down his face.

'Your Sunny became Rakshit when Arpita maasi found me on the road and decided to adopt me. But now even though my name means protector, I could not protect you from those murders. But don't worry, I will make them pay for what they have done. They will suffer just like they made you suffer. I will take away all their happiness. Purab Khanna and Alia Mehra will cry only tears of pain from now on! They will beg for mercy but they won't get any!' Rakshit thought determinedly.

Rakshit then opened his eyes, wiped his tears away, and turned to leave. But then suddenly stopped at seeing who was standing by him, also praying to the Shiv statue.

Pragya had reached home to find out that Saritaben was going to the temple. Having nothing important to do, Pragya had offered to go with her.

When Pragya reached the temple, unfallen tears pricked her eyes when she realized that this temple was the same temple she would bring her Kiara to, often. She also remembered how Sunny, not wanting to leave his friend, would come with them too.

Pragya had smiled at the memory of Sunny and Kiara chasing each other in the temple. It used to annoy her when they did that because they would disturb other people in the temple, but now it was a fond memory.

Pragya wondered how Purab and Disha were now. She wondered how Sunny was now. But above all, she just hoped that all three of them were living together like a happy family. Something that she and Abhi never got to have.

Currently, Pragya was praying in front of the Shiv statue, while Saritaben had gone to talk to a pandit.

When Pragya opened her eyes after she was done praying, she turned her head to the side, seeing a young man looking at her with an undefinable look on his face. She also spotted tear tracks on his face.

"Are you okay, beta?" Pragya asked the man worriedly. But the man didn't say anything and kept looking at her. Pragya lay a hand on his arm to get his attention.

"Huh?" Rakshit said breaking out of his trance.

"What are- how are- you?" Rakshit said unable to formulate a coherent thought after seeing his chaachi who had vowed to never come back to Delhi when she left.

"I'm sorry, I- I'm going to go." Rakshit said unable to believe his eyes, turning around and hurriedly leaving the temple. Leaving a confused Pragya behind him.

"Where is this girl? The whole day has gone, but she's still not here. How long does it take to get a couple of papers?" Prachi said exasperated at Shahana. It was time to go home, and it was also about to rain. Prachi didn't want to walk home all alone because she didn't feel safe and also because Shahana had both of the umbrellas in her bag. Prachi knew that mid-way through her walk home, it would start raining and she had no interest in getting wet in the rain.

So as Prachi was standing outside in the cold weather, deliberating what to do next. She heard a car honk at her, she looked at the car, and the driver rolled down the windows to be none other than Ranbir.

"Get in, Prachi." Ranbir said offering Prachi a ride home.

"No, thank you." Prachi said walking away, not wanting to deal with Ranbir.

"Prachi, come on, just get in. It's about to rain. Would you really rather get wet in the rain rather than be in a car with me for 5 minutes?" Ranbir said driving his car really slow behind Prachi to match her pace.

"Okay, fine, thank you." Prachi said after a short silence, thinking about Ranbir's offer. Then Prachi got in the passenger seat of the car and Ranbir drove off.

"See, I'm not that bad of a person." Ranbir said during the car ride, defending himself.

"Okay yes-." Prachi said about to say how she thought that Ranbir might actually be a decent human. But a grunting noise coming from the car interrupted her.

The car spurted forward again and again until eventually stopping and shutting off. Ranbir tried to turn the car back on by putting the key in the ignition, but it still did not work.

Ranbir looked towards Prachi with an embarrassed smile, not knowing what to do next, while Prachi looked at Ranbir incredulously.
