Part 122- Concern And Care

"Where's Priyanka? Can I talk to her? How is she now? And why do I spend money on buying you guys phones if you're never going to pick them up?" Abhi asked worriedly over the phone as Riya picked up the call.

"Priyanka's in the bathroom, you can talk to her when she comes back, she's good now, and because of the rain the cell tower probably went down, that's why none of us got your calls, so technically you should be spending more money on our phones so that they work even in the rain." Riya said with a chuckle, making Abhi breathe a sigh of relief.

"Do you plan on coming home ever again?" Abhi asked sarcastically, now more at ease.

"No, I plan on staying here forever and ever." Riya said jokingly, putting the phone on speaker when everyone else at the dining table gave her confused looks.

"Okay then, guess who's not getting a Lamborghini?" Abhi asked teasingly, causing Riya to pout cutely.

"Oh, I know the answer... Riu's not getting a Lamborghini." Prachi answered with a chuckle.

"Yes, you're correct." Abhi said with a chuckle of his own.

"Okay, now both of you stop bothering the poor kid." Pragya said coming to Riya's aid.

"No one is bothering her, we're just stating the facts." Abhi said teasingly.

"You're so mean, I'm hanging up." Riya said in a whiney voice.

"No, don't, I was just kidding Princess. Now hurry up and all of you come home because until I see Priyanka I-." Abhi began to say worriedly.

"Yes, yes I know you won't be able to rest until you cry a little after seeing Priyanka, hug her, cry a little more, hug her again, and blah blah." Riya said jokingly to lighten Abhi's mood.

"I swear my hair is turning gray because of how much you kids make me worry." Abhi said with a fond sigh.

"Yeah because you're old now. What did you think was going to happen?" Riya asked jokingly.

"Hawh." Prachi said dramatically, both she and Pragya trying to keep from laughing.

"Riya Abh-." Abhi began to say sternly about to say Riya's full name.

"I'm going to go now, see in a bit, I love you, bye." Riya said quickly before cutting the call.

"Guess who's really not getting a Lamborghini now?" Prachi asked teasingly with a chuckle, Pragya chuckling too, while Riya made a face at them but with a soft smile.

'Prachi you look so cute when you smile like that, always keep smiling like that.' Ranbir thought to himself with a soft smile as he watched Prachi chuckle, becoming lost in a trance as always, not even realizing that instead of a spoon, he was about to put his whole hand in a burning hot bowl of soup.

"Careful, Ranbir. What are you doing?" Prachi asked breaking Ranbir out of his trance, just a second before he was about to touch the burning soup.

"Oh no- nothing, thanks." Ranbir said with a grateful but sheepish smile as he realized what he had been doing, to which Prachi just nodded with a smile.

'Pikachu, you are being really attentive to Ranbir nowadays, I feel as though 'kuch kuch' is happening to you now too.' Riya thought to herself with a teasing smile, while Pragya was looking between Prachi and Ranbir with a knowing soft smile, and Saritaji was just wondering where everyone else had gone.

"Aryan stop, I have to check on Priyanka." Shahana said with a soft smile, as Aryan leaned in for another kiss.

"What? Why? She's fine." Aryan said adamantly, not releasing his hold on her.
