Abhi instantly went inside the room his daughter was in. Riya was facing away from the door, laying sideways on the small hospital bed. Abhi quickly went to her side only to find her asleep, he scooted down to the height of the bed, so that he sat with one knee on the floor.
He checked Riya for any injuries, only to find a small bandage on her forehead and a small blue cast on her wrist, he shakingly reached a hand towards her face and felt her breathing evenly. He breathed a sigh of relief.
"My princess, 'papa ki jaan,' I'm so happy that you're okay. Sure you have some injuries but I promise they'll heal soon. All you have to do is rest and get better for me." Abhi said to an unconscious Riya, leaning up to drop a kiss on her forehead, as happy tears came out from his eyes.
In his worry for Riya, Abhi's only focus had been to find out if she was okay, now that he knew she was fine, Abhi focused on the room he was in and he realized that another person was in the room. A girl to be exact, she was sitting on the couch on the other side of the room, smiling at Abhi's interaction with his daughter. When the girl caught him looking at her, she quickly got up from the couch, trying to explain herself.
"Sorry I didn't want to interrupt. You were so worried about your daughter that you didn't even notice me when you came inside. And I didn't think it would be right of me to interfere in your moment." The girl said so quickly that she was almost out of breath.
Abhi got up from Riya's bedside and stood in front of the girl.
"Who are you? And why are you in my daughter's room?" Abhi said raising his voice because he was still on edge about Riya's accident. And did know if this girl was good or not.
