"Aww because of you guys, I dropped my kheer." Aryan said in a whiney voice, as he looked at the spilled kheer that was now laying on the floor with a cute pout, having dropped it from the shock of seeing Priyanka and Rishi together.
"Guys, are you okay?" Aryan now asked confused, finally noticing the depressing atmosphere in the room, as he looked up to see that Priyanka and Rishi hadn't even reacted to him coming there, and didn't even seem to have heard the loud sound of the kheer bowl breaking. For they were still embracing each other tightly, their foreheads still joined, holding on to each other as if there was no tomorrow, a certain desperation in their hold.
"What happened why are you two crying?" Aryan asked worriedly, as he was able to see a little bit of their faces, in turn being able to see the heavy tears that were streaming down both of their faces.
"Aryan, did you find Priyanka, yet?" Shahana asked worriedly as her voice started to get closer and closer to the room that they were in.
"Yes.. yes I did." Aryan said nervously as he moved to block Priyanka and Rishi from Shahana's view as soon as she reached the door, not knowing how to begin to explain to Shahana why they were in such an intimate position.
"Where is she then?" Shahana asked confused.
"Right... behind me... on the bed." Aryan said with awkward pauses, as he turned his head without moving from his spot to look at Rishi and Priyanka who were still in each other's arms, as if frozen in time, trying to gesture to them to move apart, because he didn't know who knew about their relationship and who didn't.
"Don't, don't come in!" Aryan yelled quickly, as Shahana took a step forward to enter the room.
"Why not? I'll come in if I want to, you can't tell me what to do." Shahana said adamantly, confused by Aryan's weird behavior.
"Be- because... there is... glass on the floor... I don't want you to get hurt." Aryan excused nervously.
"Oh wow, maybe you do actually need to be fed." Shahana said jokingly with a chuckle as she looked at the spilled kheer, just going around it to enter the room, while Aryan made a face somewhere in between regret and annoyance. Not knowing whether to feel annoyed that he was being insulted or to feel regret that Shahana had entered the room anyhow.
"What are you doing? Let me see Priyanka." Shahana said annoyed because Aryan kept blocking her way no matter which direction she tried to go in.
"No..... you shall not pass...... it's your punishment for making fun of me." Aryan excused awkwardly, trying to look smug, but it just came across as nervous.
"Rishi I found your red shirt. I told you, didn't I? It was in your closet, just laying on the floor, all you had to do was look." Saritaji said as she entered the same room, shaking her head fondly while holding the said red shirt in one hand.
"Where's Rishi?" Saritaji asked confused when she didn't see him anywhere in the room.
"Rishi... who?" Aryan asked with an awkward shrug, pretending to be oblivious, still moving here and there to block Shahana.
"Rishi, my grandson, a servant told me that she saw him go into my room last, so where is he?" Saritaji asked confused.
"This... you- your room.... grandson?" Aryan stuttered out unbelievably.
'Shit, seriously? Rishi is Saritaji's gra- grandson? Definitely wasn't expecting that.' Aryan thought to himself unbelievably.
'What do you mean you weren't expecting that? How did you think Rishi was here, idiot?' One side of Aryan's mind asked sarcastically.
