"What was Chaachi doing at the temple?" Rakshit thought to himself, while in his dark bedroom, sitting on his bed, the only light in the room was the small lamp on his bed stand.

"Didn't she say that she would never come back to Delhi? Does Chucks know that she's back? Does Riya know who her mother is?" Rakshit asked himself as so many questions were running around in his mind.

"Stop it, Rakshit. They are no longer your family. What goes on between them is not your concern." Rakshit said berating himself for caring so much about people who he thought never cared about him.

"All you need to do is focus on your goal to destroy Purab Khanna and Alia Mehra. I have already entered the Mehra industries and their destruction has begun. I will destroy the empire that they are so proud of in a matter of weeks. And then they will be forced to live on the streets. They too will suffer just like my mom did." Rakshit said with determination.

And with that in mind, Rakshit went to sleep, dreaming 'happy' dreams of the Mehra's destruction.

"Didn't Mr. Shergill seem familiar to you Purab?" Alia asked Purab as they were getting ready for bed.

"Weirdly, I felt as if I've met him before." Purab said lost in deep thought. "Maybe we have met him before... we go to a lot of business events that Abhi can't go to. Maybe we've met him at an event and just don't remember." Purab concluded, still unsure as to why Rakshit felt so familiar.

"Huh, I guess you're right." Alia said after a short silence, but she was still not convinced.

That night when Alia and Purab went to sleep, Alia was on the bed, and Purab was on the couch. Both of them spent a long time lost in thoughts about both of their sons.

Both of them knew that something was going on with Aryan even though they didn't say anything. They were waiting for him to come talk to them, about whatever it was.

Both of them thought about Sunny as they did every night. Wondering where he could be and how he was doing.

But tonight was a little different. Tonight they also thought about a man who they'd only met today but felt a strong connection with, the man was none other than Rakshit Shergill.

Abhi was going over some papers in his study when he heard a knock on his door, he told the person to come inside. The person was none other than Meera holding a glass of warm milk.

"Here you go, Abhi." Meera said putting the glass of milk in front of Abhi.

"Yaar, Meera, you know I don't like plain milk." Abhi said in a whiney voice.

"Yes, I know, but drinking coffee all the time isn't good for you. So come on stop behaving like your daughter and drink the milk." Meera said adamantly.

"Princess refused the milk too?" Abhi asked proudly, smiling at how his daughter had sided with him.

"Yes, but I've already given up on her. She'll die but she'll never drink plain milk. But at least she eats healthy, so I don't worry that much about her. But you on the other hand don't even eat healthily, so I won't leave you alone until you finish this milk." Meera said more adamantly.

"Okay, I promise I'll drink the milk. Thank you." Abhi said honestly.

"You better. Okay, now I'm going to bed, you should too, we have another meeting in the early morning. Goodnight." Meera said smiling.

"I will. Goodnight." Abhi said as Meera left.

Once Meera left, Abhi let out a sigh. He liked how Meera took care of everyone in this house. But he also knew about Meera's feelings for him. And even though he had made it clear to Meera early on that no one would be able to take the place of his Fuggi. She had still remained by his side, helping him raise his daughter.

At some point, Abhi felt guilty for using Meera's goodness for his own benefit. He felt as though he was playing with her feelings.

But no matter what he couldn't bring himself to let go of his Fuggi. He couldn't ever replace her because he still loved and would continue to love her till his last breath, even if she never came back to him.

"Why did you leave me, Rishi?" Priyanka thought out loud as she was sitting against the headboard of her bed, tears streaming down her face, all alone in her dark bedroom.

"Was my love too much for you to handle? After Mom and Dad died I had no one to call my own. Sure I had Riya and Chucks but they weren't someone who I could call my own. When I met you, Rishi. I finally found someone to call my own. I finally didn't feel all alone in the world. Is it so bad that I wanted to keep your love forever? Is it so bad that I wanted to keep the one person that made me feel complete with me for all my life?" Priyanka asked as tears fell more heavily from her eyes.

"I've lost too much in my life. My Mom and Dad. My sisters. They all died in a car accident and left me all alone." Priyanka said as her sobs got louder, her voice cracking with emotion.

"I won't lose you, too. I won't. I can't bear another loss. I won't be able to survive being all alone again. I promise I will get you back and you will love me again." Priyanka said with determination, though tears still fell from her eyes thinking about the family she had lost.

So as Priyanka went to bed that night, she planned numerous ways how to get her Rishi back. While also thinking about how different her life would be if her family was alive.
