Wings AU

Oooookay, so I'm back at it again with the shitty soulmate AUs.

So imagine that everyone has wings. But, your wings match your soulmates.

Auri and Kal
Deep purple wings that are so dark they appear black, with gold flecks in them.

"You...have the same wings as I do?" She whispers, hugging her wings close to her body.
"Yes." He replies, acting cold and aloof when really he just wants to fly away.
He is scared. This boy who has an empire waiting for him is scared of what a Terran would think of him.
"I'm so sorry." She whispers, and turns to fly away.
And he stands there, his wings dropped, defeated.

Cat and Ty
Deep crimson wings laced with black and dark yellow.

The girl called Cat looks at all the kindergarteners in her class, hawking at all the different wing colours they have.
Of course, she doesn't know what it means.
She hears the door creak open, and two blonde twins walk in.
His wings match hers.

Scar and Fin
White wings that fade into black.

"Holy shit you have the same wings as I do!" He cries, not registering what it means.
She laughs, knowing full well what it means, and watches as I hits him.
"Oh."
"Oh." She agrees, and pulls him into a kiss.

Zila
Her wings are a deep green, but she can't use them to fly.

She sobs in her room, trying desperately to fly.
"Why? Why can't I be like the others? Why can't I be loved?"
