Around twenty years ago, the Greek Gods got bored. Zeus decided to send five of them to earth to find out how the humans lived life.
He sent down the five that he thought were the best for the job: Aphrodite, Ares, Apollo, Poseidon, and Hades. Though he had to summon Hades, since he was in the underworld.
They all had three years to gather information and when that time was up, they had to return to Olympus and report their findings.
What he didn't expect was for them to fall in love with these humans.
He was furious when he found out they'd slept with them and procreated.
Ever since then, Zeus had been keeping a close eye on these children. It helped that they had moved to the same area, at least, once Zeus had the gods convince their partners to move.
These children were destined for great things, Zeus was sure of that.
