We actually hit it off well.

After that, we talked for a bit and realized that we had quite a bit in common.

It also helped that both of us were awkward, so we basically canceled each other out and it was easy to make friends.

We talked about our opinions on the knights, favorite dishes, even complained about Kaeya. We also realized we both used claymore's and exchanged tips with each other.

Overall, it was a pretty fun time, just chatting in the bustling bar while he served drinks and took orders.

"Kaeya was always the more.... rowdy one. Always nitpicking me on the littlest things. " Diluc explained as he poured cups of wine and beer for the patrons.

This interested me as I placed down my second cup of wine. I had a strong stomach, I wouldn't be getting dizzy anytime soon. "What type of things would he say?"

The redhead snapped his head to face me once he heard my laugh, but I stopped before he could see me. I had put on a blank and serious expression.

He nodded in agreement with my statement, turning away once again to continue cleaning.

I let out a sigh as I sweatdropped. 'Damn, he really cares about his grape juice.'

Don't get me wrong, I realized just how terrifying Diluc can be, it happened when I had argued with him that garlic and herbs are much better than just salt and pepper.

Disturbingly enough, the usually cool and charismatic Kaeya was smiling widely. Though it looked extremely forced.

Most of the patrons of the bar ignored him, and those who did notice his arrival quickly returned to their buisness.
