Peter Blofis

Hey, I'm Peter. You probably recognize my last name, Paul's my brother. Younger brother I should add. The little guy never could catch up to me. He's a teacher for Christ's sake! Our parents never  were really proud of him, so I took him under my wing.

Now look at him! He's got a family! A kid, and a step son. He'll have to do something about him later so he can focus on his real family, and not that mistake his wife made.

Anyways, I'm taking my wife and two kids to Paul's house where he says the mistake, my words, and his 'serious' girlfriend are going to be. Yeah, you let me know of any relationship that started in high school and lasted. ... I'll wait. Thats what I thought.

So I get in my most expensive suit, and make sure Katherine, my beautiful wife is wearing her best, most elegant, and expensive dress. She thinks we might be overdressed, I hope we are! I feel bad for Paul, he's probably still in that old tiny apartment, with three kids in it! I could never imagine.

I'm an executive at Red Lobster. Best seafood north of Maryland. I came up with that you know. I get pain anytime somebody brings it up.

"Honey don't forget the presents!"

"Paul claims to be a big shot now! He doesn't need our charity."

"Its christmas Peter. Grab the damn presents." She huffed as she put her diamond earrings in. "Help me get this on please?" She hands me her diamond necklace, and I struggle with the clasp for a quick second but I eventually get it.

What can I say? These hands aren't meant for such things, these hands were made for coming up with million dollar slogans... and managing the east side of red lobster...

"Kids come on! We're gonna be late!"

"Coming dad!" My youngest daughter, Elle, came running down the stairs in her cute little dress.

"Wow Ellie, you look so cute!" I pick her up and tickle her as I wait for my son, Caleb gets his suit ready. "Caleb! Whats taking so long!?"

"How do I get my tie on?"

"Come here, I'll do it for you, but this weekend we are sitting down and you will learn young man."

"Yes dad..." He rolled his eyes but I didn't care, we needed to go show Paul up.

Don't get me wrong, I love my little brother, I practically raised the kid, but sometimes he needs to remember who the older, more successful brother is. Like sure he technically went to graduate school but Red Lobster has no time for such unnecessary education.

I mean, education is a great, and important thing in life, don't tell my son I said he graduate school s waste, he's going.

"Honey do you need directions?"

"No Kath, I have a perfectly good sense of direction."

"Do you want the directions now?" I sigh, and admit defeat, which is like the first time in my life I've ever done that.

"Fine." We got there within two minutes, making us ten minutes late but thats what I call fashionably late.

We walk up the long walkway to a surprisingly big house.

"Are you sure this is the right address honey?"

"Yep. See."

"Okay... if somebody opens the door and we don't know them you've gotta be the one to explain."

"Fine, just can we get inside? Its freezing out here."

I ring the doorbell, and we wait. We wait some more, until finally, a handsome young man, with sea green eyes, and messy black hair opens the door.
