7. Betrayal Part Two

Annabeth POV

"PIPER! PIPER OPEN UP RIGHT NOW!"

"Wh-what?" She opened the door and was rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.

"How could you let one of your siblings date Percy!? Listen I know you guys all hate me still but come on, I'm trying so hard to make things right, and you let your sister swoop him off his feet?!"

"Hey Annabeth, good to see you too."

"ANSWER ME!"

"Listen, I'm sorry you're hurting, but I don't have control over who my siblings date. Clearly if it was such a problem my mother would have done something about it. I'm pretty sure she's pissed with you since you broke Percy's heart.'

"But can you talk to her, or at least think about talking to her? Please? Come on think about everything we went through together on the Argo II!"

"Alright."

"Alright you'll do it?"

"Alright I'll think about it."  She shut the door in my face.

I get back to my cabin and pull out a piece of paper, and just start writing.

Dear Percy,

This is the 5th letter I've written but I'll try to send this one. I just miss you, I miss your arms around me, I miss your sea breeze scent, and your sea green eyes. I though we had some hope when you said you wanted to be friends, but then you just continued to avoid me. It hurts Percy. Please, I understand you're mad at me, I understand that I broke your  trust, but you broke your promise, you said you would never leave me! You're moving on, and I cant take it. I need you. I need you in my life.

We go to school soon, and I don't think I'll survive the mortal world without you. If you said I had to go through Tartarus with you just to rekindle our love I would do it. I would go through it all again, if  it meant could regain your trust and your love. If you would just give me a second chance, I swear on the River Styx I won't let you down again. I just need you to take me back. Please Percy, my Seaweed Brain, I love you, I hope you still love me. Please, just consider.

I run to his cabin, and before I can second guess ny actions I slip it under his door.

Percy POV

When I wake up there's a letter that's been slipped under my door. I pick it up and I recognize the handwriting right away, i-its from Annabeth. I read it, as hard as it was with my dyslexia, I power through, and I don't know what to do. I mean of course I still love her, I need her, I can't live without her, but she, broke my trust. I guess I'll test the waters. I get dressed in a blue button up shirt, and khaki shorts, and head off to the Athena cabin.

I knock on the door and Alexis answers.

"Hey, is uh Annabeth around?"

"Oh, uh I think."

"C-can you get her for me?" She rolls her eyes and leaves me at the door.

"What? Wait what Alexis?" I overhear her. That voice my wise girl's voice.

"H-hi Percy."

"I uh got your letter."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah, I mean I had trouble but at least you didn't write in in script, and that just—"

"Sorry but is there any particular reason you're here? N-not that I mind, I just don't—"
