Percy POV
"Percy pick up the pace! We're gonna be late!"
"I can't find my Odyssey homework."
"I have it."
"Oh."
"Seriously?" I suppose she was referring to the fact I was still in bed. "We have to go."
"Go on without me! Save yourself! Go! I love you!"
"I love you too Seaweed Brain, now get your ass up."
"I can't."
"Why is that?"
"I died."
"That's not funny."
"Fine! I'm up!" She stormed out of my room. "Wise Girl?"
"What."
"I love you..." I gave my best seal eyes and threw in the pouty lip.
"Not gonna work."
We hopped in my mom's convertible since she went with Paul this morning. Please don't tell her.
Buzz Buzz
"What was that?" I take look at my monster proof phone, thank you Leo, and shit.
"It's a text from Al, she needs a ride. I-is it okay?"
"No, but if she really doesn't have a ride, I guess we can't in good conscience leave her..." I kiss her cheek. "We're going to be so late now."
"Then I guess we better get a move on!" I rev the engine and we take off.
"PERCY! SLOW DOWN!"
"Hey, I thought you said you wanted to be on time." She rolls her eyes.
We eventually pull into Al's driveway, Annabeth hops out and pulls the seat forward, Al comes out and they have a staring match.
"Get in..." Annabeth does as she says and gets in the back. "Hey Perce! Thanks for the ride!"
Annabeth POV
Okay, lets get a few thing straight. I don't like Ally, but she makes Percy happy, two, how does Percy not see the way she treats me? I love the guy but sometimes he's so... dense.
We pull up to the school and they get out, almost leaving me stuck in the back. Thankfully some sense was knocked into my sea green eyed bafoon and he he turned around to help me get out. Instead of moving the seat he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.
"PERCY!!" I fake struggled to get out of his clasp. He only put me down when people started looking.
"Sorry, I can't help it sometimes." I punched his arm. "Owww"
"You're fine." I pecked his cheek. When we got to the door we had to say our goodbyes until second period.
"Uh Al, can I catch up with you later, save me a seat?"
"Yeah whatever." She walked away.
"I love you."
"I love you too. Don't go missing on me again."
"I'll try not too." I kiss him, maybe lingering in his arms a bit longer than we should have but hades, he needs to remember where he can get what he wants. "I love you so much Wise Girl."
"I love you Seaweed Brain. Walk me to architecture?"
