AN: This isn't the one I was talking about because the one that's just HSMTMTS is stressing me out and it's taking a while so for now enjoy this one that's been bothering me to be written so whatever...

Summary: Essentially ✨inspired✨ by the Olivia Rodrigo/Joshua Bassett thing [percy ends up a dick but kind of redeems himself (only a little bit) :)] also this is again only ✨inspired✨ by their intriguing situation.

"I'll be honest, last season—" Annabeth had this gleam in her eyes as she recounted her time with Percy. Their chemistry had been so overwhelming that she asked him out. "It's ironic if you think about it." Her eyes were glassy, it still hurts but she's a professional. "It just sucks that now that we're not together out of the show we have to be all mushy together on screen."

"Thanks, Annabeth. Your next scene is in five."

"Thanks, guys."

She let out a deep breath. It felt like the writers were trying to kill her. Before, she was supposed to be mad at him on screen, and now that it just hurts to look at him she has to kiss him and be lovey with him.

The behind the scenes crew crossed the big stretch of land that is their set and knocked on Percy's trailer door.

"Babe, I'll get it." She kissed him, but made no efforts to get up.

"If it's the crew tell them I'll be ready for that stupid scene I have to do with Annabeth in five minutes." He groaned and threw on his pants.

Rachel stood up from his lap and answered the door.

"We need Percy."

"He'll be ready for his scene in five." She went to close the door but one of the cameramen stuck their arm out to block her from closing the door.

"It's for the extras." She rolled her eyes and went to get him. He rubbed his face and tried to get his shirt back from Rachel.

"No!" She whined and ran from him playfully. He sighed and answered the door.

"What's up guys?" He put on his best smile, hoping nobody could see through it.

"How do you feel about the whole Annabeth situation?"

"Chase?" The producer nodded, "I mean... she's alright. She's nice and all, we just didn't work out I guess."

"We mean the whole part where you have to act like a couple in the show even though you hate each other."

"She hates me?" The production crew didn't say anything. "I didn't think there was bad blood but I'll do what I do, and then I get to return to the love of my life, Rachel." He winked off screen to Rachel.

"And you're not concerned about Annabeth?"

"Is there something to be concerned about with her?"

"She's about to release her debut album."

"Oh with the songs about me?"

"Nobody said they were about you."

"She hasn't dated anyone else."

"Are you uncomfortable or not?"

"Nah, unless she makes it awkward."

"Thanks, Perce."

"Anytime guys."

"They need you in two minutes by the way."

"Rachel, I really need my shirt!" He laughed and closed the door. "Come on, Wise Girl!" That made them both freeze. "Sorry, I uh, they were asking me questions about her and I guess she was just on the brain."
